keep receiving calls in the afternoon on my cell. do not know number. leave a message or quit calling

936-671-7866 calls and doesn't leave a message.  When I called back they identified themselves as The Education Authority but I couldn't find it on the internet.

I have had so many problems with the Columbus Dispatch that I cancelled my Sunday paper. They continued delivering it for 3 months and then billed me. After arguing a while I got it resolved. Now their "sales professionals" call me 2 or 3 times every day for the past 2 weeks now and don't leave a message. I tried to call back but only get an asnwering ma****e that tells you not to use profanity in your message. They must get a lot of angry cussers.

Caller is calling my cell during work. When I don't answer, they don't leave a msg. If you aren't identified as in my contact list when the # comes & you don't leave a msg, you aren't getting a call back. It's as simple as that. If you are a business, get professional and leave a message.

I got a few phone calls at work after COB.  (It should be apparent that I wouldn't be here.)  Anyway, I called the number, got a recording, and had the option to leave a message.  One interesting aspect regarding their recording was that they said messages left would be deleted once they heard any profanity, so I left a "polite" message asking to be removed from their calling list.  We'll see what happens.

this kept calling and then ****up. its say UNKNOW NAME and UNKNOW NUMBER but it came out 614-461-8896 is a local columbus, I need STOP CALLING!! people likes to play the game calling those people , they are scammer calls as same telemakers, GEEZE STOP CALLING!

they called me few months ago and i left a respectful message on the number's voice mail telling them i didn't want them calling me. well today i got another call from these guys!! i will do it a***n and see if it works permanently this time.

614-461-8896 has called us almost every day for two months now. We seldom answer but when we get tired of it ringing we answer and no one will respond to our repeated "hellos." After the fourth time of screaming "hello" into the phone they **** up. I once called the Columbus Dispatch and could not get a real person to talk to , only a menu. When I left a message inquiring as to why they were calling here they never called me back. Or did but would not say anything. Has anyone reported this to the Dispatch? Sounds like someone is doing prank calls from there instead of doing their job and the Dispatch needs to know. If we all call and file a complaint maybe they can track down the phantom caller.

They have called me every 2 hours from @ 4-9pm for the last two weeks.  I have a 410 area code and they still call!  I have called, left my # and asked to be removed and so far that has not gotten me anywhere...guess I'll keep trying!

i live in dayton & i've always had a dayton phone number.  i don't know why these clowns call,  i don't even know How they got my #   I've never ordered the paper before (not even dayton newspaper) i've been reading the news online forever.  why is a columbus newspaper calling people in dayton, luzers.

I thought it was an emergency because they called twice back to bac****!!! POS!!!

this is just a good sign that the dispatch is going out of business! I hate them. they sent me to collections over a charity scam that they admitted was a scam. 4 calls in 3 days this month. Good Riddance.

Columbus Dispatch solicitor.  Never leaves a message.  I called back and left a message to remove me from their call list.  We'll see if it works

THE NUMBER CALLED ME THREE TIMES BEFORE I GOT TO IT OVER A TWO PERIOD.  IT WAS A AUTOMATED CALL.  FOUND OUT IS WAS THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH.  I GOT RID OF THEM BECAUSE PAPER WENT FROM .50 CENTS TO A DOLLAR IN LESS THAN SIX MONTHS.  I BLOCKED THEM THROUGH VERIZON AND FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST, WHICH MY NUMBER IS ON.  ALSO LEFT THEM A MESSAGE NOT TO CALL ME.  AND WILL CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN THEY OPEN UP AT 0630.

Got numerous calls from this number on my cell, never a msg left. Checked here - then called and left a msg to remove me from their call list. Their greeting warns that use of profanity will cause your msg to be deleted. Seems some folks are not happy receiving all these calls!!

I never should have given my number to the Dispatch newspaper. Now that I've canceled my subscription I get all kinds of calls from them.

Called three times. On the third time, I answered and they ***g up.

Yep! the dispatch.  call them back and leave a message requesting your number be removed from the list.  It worked for me.

They have been calling every evening around 6 pm. They don't answer when you answer the phone. And three times now, they leave a message saying*****o,*****o,*****o and nothing else. Really weird & annoying.
