I have received 6 calls since 1/11/13!!! They leave no messages and call on Sa****ays! I am registered on the Do Not Call List too. I am so sick of it. IF they were legit, they would leave a message, but they don't, becuase they aren't. What do I do?!!!

They called claiming to know me and my wife's sister and wanted me to give info about her so they can collect a $50,000 debt. I asked who he was refused to answer. No supervisor was available no call back number and no info regarding how they got my info. My wife's sister does not have any of my information except what she needs to know. These calls need to stop. The FCC and FTC need to step up and increase their fines or actually get up off there ****s and do so****ing.

Then the caller asked me to verify if my last four digits of my social security number were _ _ _ _. They call everyday at 8:30 a.m. and at 7:30 in the evening. They've called on Sat. and Sunday! And don't leave a message. If they want to inform you of so****ing, they should leave a message. Dee Dee Dee.

First, they called between 0700 and 0730, looking for Arthur Golden. (They had previously called looking for the same person several days ago at a reasonable time and I told them there was no such person by that name here.) They turned around this morning and called right back but wouldn't say anything the second time.

These people need to stop calling

This man calls and states his name is REX and you owe money to some university. You have to ask what company he's with or he won't tell you. Then he wants to confirm your personal information. When I told him to send me a bill if he believed I owed money, he got really angry. Why can't this be stopped?? I callted the FTC to report him as I see this has been going on for a long time for a lot of good hard working people. I've also posted on multiple websites to help where I can.

A man called and identified his name as Rex.  Had to ask a couple of times for the name of his company.  He finally said MCO.  He stated that I owed a university.  He asked for my personal information and got angry when I wouldn't verify it.  Told him to send me a bill and he stated that they don't send bills.  This is a scam as I don't owe anybody any money!!!

Do not give these scammers any more information than they already have. They targeted me, a veteran claiming I have a debt with Aafes (an on-base only military store for soldiers). They kept saying "what do you think the debt is for?" I was like "you're calling me, you tell me." finally I got fed up said that I had proof that my card had been paid off for over 4 years. The female then said "oh, it's not on your card it was for a bad check, let's just get your new address and you can send us the money before we charge you interest." I asked what date was on it and when she told me I said that I wasn't even in the military anymore at that time and she ***g up. I am an accountant and am not that ******. They were hoping I would just pay the money without "interest" and be done with it. If you scammers are reading this PEOPLE ARE NOT THAT ****** AND YOU ARE LOWER THAN LOW LIVES TARGETING VETERANS THAT FOUGHT TO PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS IN OUR GREAT COUNTRY. A Mr. Davis called, but would not say why he was calling. I ***g up and chose not to answer when he called back. He did not leave a voice message. He has called me in the past, each time s****ing out somewhat polite, but turning increasingly aggressive.

Told them repeatedly to stop calling and they said they couldn't unless I verified my address. I did not. Lady ***g up on me after several minutes of arguing with her and said I'd hear from a judge. Right.

They called a***n after i've told them I don't know the person who they are referring to on "their application." They won't tell me what it is for, just keep asking if I know her and why would she list me as a reference if I didn't know her?! Is this fraud??

Called my aunt and uncle's house and asked for my aunt. They stated I gave her name as a reference for some application. I didn't apply for anything in the past several years that required a reference. They told her my full name, current address, dob, and my place of employment and asked her if the info. was correct. She thought nothing of it and told them yes. When I found out I panicked and told her I didn't apply for anything. Hopefully they could be stopped.

An individual at this number called me around 8:30 Eastern asking me about an application that I knew nothing about. Then they gave me a bogus date of birth and asked me to verify it. Called my parents house looking for my husband saying he filled out an application with this number and address on it. Which was not true and then when my mom would not give them the correct number they called her a few choice names and said her home would burn if she did not give them the information they wanted. Although I have asked her to mail me the information and she decided to fax to my job.She keeps asking for banking info and she can stop the garnishment... Blah blah blah. Debbie Whitehead has also called my home repeatedly. She claims OSI taken over student loans. They refuse to mail proof or other information citing it takes two weeks and we do not have thatlength of time to resolve the issue. She uses a very threatening tone yet a***n offers no proof ofwho she or her company are representing. I am so grateful to have found this website while tryingto find out who OSI actually are. I have been receiving these calls also but have never answered them and no message ever left on my answering ma****e. Outsourcing SOL and the number 614-***-4395 shows on my caller ID. I had no idea who these calls are/were from so I decided to find out by sear****g the net and came across this site. I have never had a student loan, do not have any outstanding loans of any type. Anyone that gets these types of calls should do the following. Write a letter to the company and state in it to cease and dessit all calls to your phone number per  the FTC Fair Debt Collection Act. The letter needs to be sent via certified mail with delivery confirmation. I also write in the letter that I will file a formal complaint with the FTC Consumer Protection Division, in my case the Indiana attorney generals office and purse legal action using my personal attorneys if I receive any further calls after the delivery confirmation is received. Since I have never answered these calls and no message has ever been left I do not know if this company is using an automated dialing ma****e system. In Indiana these types of calls are also illegal per IC 24-5-14-5 of the Indiana code.

I get calls from this number, do not answer it and do not feel obligated under and cir***stances to answer it since I am on a national do not call list. They never leave a message and if they did I wouldn't call them back anyway. I am tired of harassing phone calls about debt and am trying to dig myself out of some major debts. I do not answer any calls that come in with an area code that is different from mine unless I specifically know the number.

This company has two different numbers calling our residence. They call 7 days a week about 2-5 times a day.

This number calls at least once a day and leaves messages for either "Miss Espinoza" or "Karen" about the law requiring them to notify her that she needs to call them back about some kind of payment. The messages are always the same except for one or two small details. Of course, I've never had any debt owed to anyone, don't have the last name Espinoza or the first Karen. They've been calling for months with a few weeks break so I tend to forget about it until the storm comes a***n.

I received a call this morning from them at 6:30am!  I believe it is illegal to call before 8am or after 9pm.  I also had defaulted student loans, but I worked with another agency to rehabilitate and consolidate them.  They left a message saying so****ing about garnishment.  They are annoying, and they have called my house repeatedly.

I get phone calls from these people and I'm at the tail end of a 80k student loan (UNDER 2k left).I've not turned them in but I've gotten to where I don't answer and delete their messages from "Caine Covey" who says he is from "Affiliated Credit Services".

I have verified that my student loan has not been passed off however they are sending me letters stating that I need to call this phone number and put in a code to listen to their voice mail.  Totally a scam and I refuse to call their number. OSI is their "new name" theyve c****ed it several times, they are a collection agency.  They like to use the telephone as a harrassment device.  Its funny b/c they will never respond to you in written form, since they are *****ly afraid of being accountable for their actions.  I found it amusing that they dont have voicemail for the people that call you, nor do they like to used their last names, hmmm?Do not trust them, report them to the FTC and your local attourneys general immediately for harrassment if they chronically call you more than 2-8 times a day, its a violation of the law. FYI they are currently being sued by 5 different state attorney's generals for abusive business practices, costumer fruad, and not protecting peoples personal information. They get quite demanding to have your personal information, yet they are surprisingly reluctant to confirm anything in writing.  Make sure you look up the Federal law called the “Fair Debt Collection Practices Act” (FDCPA) they violated this with me, and I nailed them with it.

These OSI representatives have no compassion and never even wanted to listen to what I had to say. Yes, I have student loans that have defaulted. I don't think they want to even work with you. The Debbie Whitehead was rude, interruptive, and flat out told me "I don't care about your other student loans". As well as, "well, they aren't going to be much lower" in very elitist tone.

These people have been calling me for many months over a student loan that was consolidated years ago.  They have threatened to garnish my wages and will not stop daily calls to me at home and at work.  They are a collections agency called OSI and all they can do is bark - they have no bite.  But their bark is quite annoying and some of us are planning a little payback for these guys...We would love to find out the real names of these callers from OSI.
