My caller id incorrectly flagged this number as "potential spam." It was *not* spam. It was a valid, and important call from my physician at Vanderbilt University medical center.

I didn’t answer, no message was left.

Did not answer but when I called back it was the number for Vanderbilt University.

It is the cardiology unit for the surgery dept.

Not a spammer. This is the number that shows up for a lot of calls from Vanderbilt University or the University Medical Center. Calls from within Vanderbilt get routed through here. It may be a security feature for university staff.

Beginning March 15, calls made from Vanderbilt telephones will display the originating number on the receiving party’s caller-ID.Previously, all outbound Vanderbilt calls displayed the number 615-343-0473. That’s c****ing because of business and medical center needs. Individual calls may still be blocked by dialing *67 before s****ing a call. For instance, instead of dialing 9-*******X, a caller would dial *67-9- *******X. A long distance number would be dialed *67-#9-VNetCode-9-1-*******-****. This feature only works for calls to numbers outside the Vanderbilt telephone network.

I got a call from this number and it was a lady calling me complaining i texted her when i never did

Received 3 calls from this number asking for a doctor's office.  Seems strange since the area code is from Tennessee and I'm 3 states away.

It is Vandy cardiology.

I received a call from this number for the man I work for.  He is an Alumni from Vanderbilt.  The woman calling did not identify herself, mispronounced his name and would not leave a message.  Very unprofessional.  If these are fundraising calls from Vanderbilt they need to work on the image they are presenting.

called at 28JUL09 @ 1132 hours.  said they were from vandy wanted info for my doctor's visit.

This number called me 7-23-09 at 830....When I try to call it back it says this is not a valid number. Please call me a***n.

Received a call around noon today from someone in the Nashville area, did not leave a message as I was unable to get to the phone. Did not call back.

It's a direct line from a cardiology group at Vanderbilt.

Received a call from a female who knew my name. When I asked from whom she was calling, she ***g up.
