WOW! I knew this was a crazy scam. Here is what he emailed me. Be careful people. there are so many people that I know that have had nothing but issues on "Craigs List" with crazies repsonding.

Hi, we almost fell for same scam.  Is there anyone we can report this to?

WILLIAM LISTED THIS CONTACT PHONE NUMBER IN AN E-MAIL TO ME ABOUT A TROM**** IADVERTISED ON CRAIG'S LIST. PHONE NUMBER IS A NON-WORKING NUMBER WHEN I TRIED TO CALL AND SPEAK WITH "WILLIAM DENVER".

I  got the same thing, so I sent them this in reply:"This sounds like a good deal. If you would like to come here, I could pull down my pants and show you my magnificent *****. If you then ****** it and made me ***** my hot *** in your mouth, I would be willing to deduct an additional $75 from the total price of my item."

Got the very same email. S****ed with an email via Craig's list asking what my lowest price would be then after I replied I got "the" email. It was sent from: [email protected] I'll copy it below to keep this string going. He (?) obviously does a copy/paste thing as even the typos are the same. I went so far as to say OK to the deal and then "he" (went by the name Kennedy Michael) sent another e-mail saying that he would send me a check for the cost of the item + $50 + another $1250 for the shipper. That's when I realized that it was a scam and called the whole thing off. Obviously, the guy/group is foreign--no natives use such poor English grammar.

Selling a bike on craigslist and sounds like a scam.  He said he will have a shipping company pick up the bike after I get the payment VIA a personal check/money order.  I told him I'd drop it off to him, but was reluctant.  States that he is "out of town".  Beware!
