I get a lot of cold calls on my phone at work, and this was a new one for me...the caller ID came up as BY Tape Marketing...I never answer calls like this, so I let it go to vm...of course no message left, so I am pretty sure this is a telemarketer of some kind. SO annoying!
A young girl called my law firm smacking her gum. She really needs some serious etiquette training! Asking if we use a speicfic 5 gallon of water. I just ***g up the line.
Caller asked to speak to our business facilities manager by name. She was not available, I offered to transfer her to leave a message, caller said she would but ***g up right away. I got this same call twice with the outcome. They wanted to talk about our bottled water account but our company doesn't have one. Nice try.
I believe the person I spoke to, is Brenda. However, I called back. Jodie answered. I simply told her to take me off the list, not interested. they asked if I still used 5 Gallon plastic water bottles, then mentioned goin green.
Do we use large bottled water - Uh no. Polite person who was trying to reach the person at our business who handle "the bottled water account" Company listed as - Market Research ****ysis online. meh.
The number is unfamiliar, and I am busy. The caller had the opportunity to leave a message, but did not. This tells me I did the right thing by not answering the call. Just as I was about to hit "File," the Unknown Caller called right back. Two calls from this number within two minutes.
Calls about once a month asking for our opinion on bottled water as a "going green" campaign and how satisfied we are with Deeprock. We don't use Deeprock, so I couldn't exactly give you my opinion on it, Connie, now can I?
