We received a call yes****ay evening around 6:00 PM from this number asking for our daughter. When I asked the women what the nature of her call was, she stated that a uniformed officer would visit my home the next day to serve her a summons to appear in court. When I asked her who it was issuing the summons she responded that she could not tell me due to privacy policy. She would not give me her name or anything. My daughter is only 12 years old. I told her that she was a minor and there must be some kind of error. She called off 4 numbers and asked if they were the last 4 digits of her social security #. I stated they were not. She advised that she would look into it further. I continued to insist that she give me more information. I figured she would considering I told her that I was her mother and that she was only 12. However, she still would not. When I ***g up I tried to call the number back and received a message stating, "No one was available to take my call" and then it ***g up. I then googled the number to see if I could find any company information. I could not find anything. I visited all of the directory****istant sites as well. Some sites had it listed as a cell phone and some had it listed as a landline. However, no site had any company information or address****ociated it with. What alarmed me the most is the fact that my daughter is a minor. I called the sheriff department. They gave me a number to follow-up with in the morning. I just want everyone to know about this number just in case someone else gets a call from them too. ***...This has scary SCAM written all over it.
