Leave a CommentHad a call from 616-980-1153 about a visa gift and when I s****ed asking questions about how they have my number the phone went dead.look out for
This number came up on my caller ID. Also says, "do not answer." Called twice in one day. Don't know what it is so I"m not going to answer.
This person called my cell phone numerous times. I ignored them for a while. Then I just decided to answer the call and I just ***g up on them. They have not called since. When I called the number, it said I had ordered so****ing. Sounds like some sort of scam to me.
Caller I.D says do not answer
From the content of call this was a phishing expedition
calls daily asking me for my credit card # so they can send me free coupons Duh !!!
yea same thing here, I believe it is just a paid maketing info company trying to see if you answer so the can add you to a list of valid numbers for companies to telemarket. trying calling the do not call registry to have your number removed from telemarketing lists.
HAD CALLS FROM
This company called me yes****ay and today, left me no message. Then, when you try to call back, it says that it is an order confirmation number. It does not even state what the company is. Very scammy to me. If they call me a***n, I will report them to the Attorney General's office.
Called my cell 3 times mid evening. Left no message. I called back. A message said they were ready to ship my order. I left a message back I didn't order anything. I don't have a clue who these people are. Sounds like a scam especially after reading below.
This person just called my cell phone claiming to be from some Vista, and saying they were sending me a %25 gift card that would be good for Home Depot, WalMart, Chili's and they wanted to send me so****ing for me to try for 14 days that was supposed to be for anti fruadulant charges, but I'm already receiving one so I told them no. I had to tell them a few times before they gave up. They also knew all my info.
I don't know who this company is. On my phone it says Company Service, but they do not leave a message.
They've been calling me for the past few days and I finally answered. They said they had the last 4 digits of my VisaCard(debit card) and said that I was a preferred customer and they wanted to send me a gift card to spend at any store. Fortunately the card wasn't active anymore after the bank switched them. They must have gotten a list of cancelled credit cards since many people seem to experience exactly the same scenario. This seems to be big scam.
They had my credit card number and all my info but they refused to tell me where they got it and what number to call to fin d out further info. I was denied to speak with a supervisor
appears to be a bogus company
I got a call from the same number probably from MI,USA
stop calling my daugthers cell phone 7145
Just a few minutes ago I got a call on my work phone, and my private cell phone from these people. I didn't recognize the number, but since they called me on both phones I returned the call. I reached a recorded message that said they were calling to confirm my order, but didn't give the name of a company or any other information. There were options, one of which was to be put on their "no-call" list so I pushed that number and ended the call. I googled the number, because I was sure I hadn't ordered anything and because not having a company name on their phone message seemed very su****ious. I'm hoping that is the end of it.
I searched "scam phone call" and found the site for the Federal Trade Commission. You can log a complaint there. www.ftc.gov/phone fraudLet's all do it. You also should alert your particular state's Atty Gen. You can get to that option from the smae site.
Keeps calling at all hours
KEPT CALLING AFTER I SAID I DIDN'T WANT ANYTHING. 4 TIMES AS OF 8:16 PM EST 7 JAN. 2010
They've been calling me for the past few days and I finally answered. They said they had the last 4 digits of my MasterCard(debit card) and said that I was a preferred customer and they wanted to send me a $100 gift card to spend at any store. He said that he'd like me to call back and let them know how I liked the gift card. When he told me to hold so he could transfer me and verify my address I ***g up.
they keep calling me and as I haven't ordered anything as I keep a log on what I order I called back and got a message to comfirm my order. Then they called a***n I turned the phone on and she kept saying my name then got ****ed as I didn't say anything. Back at you as I don't answer calls I don't reconize anymore due to this harrasment and I have logged in to discontinue all the scams etc. but as you can see the calls keep coming. What are our rights as a person when these calls keep coming and people just say yes in the end to stop them and then get charged for so****ing they don't want. Feel sorry for people who can't say no and fight back. If you keep getting thes ecalls press the # sign until they **** up the noise they hear is like a high pitch and after a while they stop. But don't give in fight back because they are ripping off the elderly who can't stand up to them or give them a phony card #. Fight back e mail doesn't work because I have done it twice and I still get these calls even although I have deleted my # from the bottom of the form on e mail. Press # until they **** up.it may take a while as some of these people will just hold on 45 mins was my longest time doing this but I never heard from them a***n. What ****s.
calls at all hours, doesn't leave a message.
I am receiving calls from this number every day. Called the number back and it says they are calling concerning a recent order, but the recording does not identify the company name or any other information.
There was someone on the line but they did not speak.
called cell phone; I called back; about "so****ing" I supposedly ordered; nothing ordered in months. Look Out! It's probably attached to one of those on TV items I did order. Which I will never do a***n, as they signed me up for services I did not want, with charges to my bank card!
5pm already had 3 calls no message. I will be screaming into the phone soon. It works. Sounds crazy, but used to get many calls from these type of people. Once I s****ed answering the phone and ****ing their eardrums out, they stop calling.
keep calling
They have called my number for the past week. I called the number back and it says they are calling concerning a recent order. They also said that if you do not speak with them it will not affect your shipment. Then it says that if you do not want them to contact you any longer to press 2 and then it asks for your phone number and tells you that it will take affect in 36 hours and they will no longer call you.
annoying Telemarketer
they called and when I answered, no one talked, but they were still on the line.
They just called me a few seconds ago, but I didn't pick up. I****umed it was maybe an employer calling me back about an application that I had turned in earlier last week when I saw the missed call. So I googled the number instead of calling it back hoping it would be on yellow pages or so****ing of the like. Then I found this thread. I don't even have a credit card but I put my social on my applications...Do you think that could be where they are getting their information...?
keeps calling but will not leave message
Just **** up don't listen! THey just called me twice in a row. They also wanted to give me $120 gascard
This just happened to me about an hour ago... after six calls in the last two days, I finally answered the phone.. they told me the same story they told everyone else: I'm a preferred customer and they want to send me gas vouchers and a brochure about a new program. They mentioned a thirty day trial period for a program that would cost me $27 a month. The scary part was the woman knew my name, address and the correct last four digits of my debit card. I had a hard time understanding her because there was a lot of background noise/static. She eventually asked me to dial in my zip code and that it when I ***g up.After I ***g up, I dialed the number back from a blocked number. The message ma****e said that it was a company used to varify online purchases...Now let's just hope that nothing more comes from this...
is this company truly a scam? they called me when i was stressed out & busy and after telling them i was not interested about 5 times i finally gave in and just said fine, send it. i realized though that after we ***g up the last 4 digits they had of my card are from an old debit card this is now closed...should i worry about this?
keeps calling
why are they calling my business line? they do not leave messages at all.
someone called wanting to sign us up for a service on a credit card we recently had to cancel for fraudulant charges- coincidence???
You'd have to request that they stop calling, do***ent the date and time before filing a complaint as well.
Go to www.donotcall.gov and register your number(s) to be opt out completely. If they do call, you can report them and have them fined at $10k per call.
These people had my credit card number, so I cancelled it and had a new one sent to me.
I ordered teeth whitening kits from South Beach Brite (the one you see ads for all over the internet "the mom who discovered the secret to whiter teeth." They offered the package with $120 worth of gas vouchers and info about some discount program that they were giving me a free 30 day trial (just like Jackie) to which I opted out of. They not only charged my debit card 4 times for $11.95 the next day - they are continuing to harass me at work and at home. I cancelled my debit card when I saw the charges come through and now they are wanting me to verify my new card information. HECK NO! My advise is to NEVER offer up your CC info. If they don't accept paypal, DON'T GET IT!!
just got of the phone with some one calling from this number. they told me the same thing they told Jackie. this is a scam. I don't have a credit card any more.
They called a***n. They told me they were calling about my VISA card and told me the last four digits. (It was for my debit card. My bank switched from Mastercard to Visa. The last four digits were on the old mastercard. They weren't the last four on the new Visa as the person on the phone claimed) They told be I was a preferred customer and were sending me some package with $120 worth of gas vouchers and info about some discount program that they were giving me a free 30 day trial. All I had to pay was $4.95 S&H. If I didn't to be part of the program I just had to call them after 30 days and tell them a didn't want to be a part of it, BUT MAKE SURE YOU DON'T THROW AWAY YOU $120 GAS VOUCHERS. (They really stressed the vouchers) If I wanted to stay part of the program it was only $39.95 a month. I asked if I forget to call after the free trial period ends, will they automatically charge my card the $39.95. The woman's answer, "Well, we do expect you to call us and let us know if you want to be a part of it or not..." To wich I responed, "But if you don't hear from me, you'll****ume I want to be part of the program?" What irritated me the most was they made it sound like my credit card company was sending me info and I didn't have a choice, but when they mixed up the last for digits of my credit card, I knew it was a total scam. Not to mention, when does you credit card company ever call you before they send you a bunch of junk mail?
Same thing just happened to me 5 minutes ago, so I searched the number online and found this.
Saying that I am eligible for a phone card or they use that I ordered a product online and that they have the last 4 digits of one of my CC cards. Most of my calls keep coming from the MI area and I live on the East Coast.
called four times leaves no message then gets an at***ude when I ask who is it calling me. Called too late in the evening as well.
This number keeps calling my cell phone & I don't know anyone in MI, so, it must be a telemarketer.
Multiple calls unwanted
Multiple calls unwanted
I just got these calls after I placed a quote request for new central air, maybe that's where they are getting info? I did not put any credit card info though. I am sure this is a scam of sorts but how do you get them to stop? I said take me off your list and they are still calling!
Called twice Nov 06. I picked up and waited for a response and there wasn't any so I ***g up. Second time I didn't pick up and they didn't leave voicemail.
