I also received a phone call from the above number.  Answered, but it was dead air also.  Called back and heard music, but no one answered.  Does anyone have number for Do Not Call?

Guy just called me from this number, told me he was with AMVETS, wants me to think about our hard-working veterans and how much they sacrifice ... I interrupted him to say I have sacrificed too.  I gave my son, who was ****ed in action in Afghanistan.  He didn't even listen, just went on with his sales pitch.  I ***g up.

They just called and when I asked to be removed he said I had to talk to his manager and transferred me to some wise-a**.

Same as the above.  They call and dead air.  They have called twice.  Annoying.

Non-profit orgs are exempt from the do not call list so they are not breaking any rules sadly.

Got a call from this number.  They did not leave a message on the voice mail - consistent with prior comments from others.  Did not call back.

got a call from this number & they asked for my husband by name when i said no this isn't him they ***g up.

I just filed a complaint just a few minutes ago. It's easy and it will stop the calls. Also, beware that the telemarketers aren't involved in setting up sites like this one so that you vent but it doesn't get properly investigated by the right authorities. Fining these people creates good revenue for the government and quiet time for you and me :)

I submitted a complaint to the Do Not Call Registry and I suggest you all do the same. Tell them what you said here. They will be fined if they keep it up.

I answered the phone and it was dead air. I****umed it was one of those bill collectors who's connection takes a few seconds but I just ***g up because I didn't feel like talking to a bill collector. I called the number back and a***n, it was dead air. A phone didn't even ring. I called a second time just for the***** of it and some nice music played for about 2 seconds literally and then dead air a***n. There phone never rang.
