"Mass Bay Credit Union account was locked'

I just got the same message, that [email protected] "massbay credit union security notice" is the text message I got. Can they do anything once you opened the text to read it?  I hope not because I read the message and then they sent another one after that that said thank you. Can they do anything to your phone if you open the text message?

This seems to be a phishing scheme.  Do not reply to it.  I would call your own bank to make sure everything is secure and that they know about it.

I have also received an e-mail about this phone number****-963-1095.  I do not have an account at Mass Bay CU.  I have called my bank and notified them to make sure that noone tries to access it.I would call your bank to be on the safe side and do not call or give anyone information.

My son received a text that his "Mass Bay Credit Union account was locked' with this phone number, and another that said ' Mass Bay Credit Union Security Notice',with the number****-953-1095. He does not have an account with Mass Bay CU. Both messages had different "mobilebanking@" addresses. One was [email protected], & the other was [email protected].
