Leave a CommentWhen they called me on 8-13-009, a representative was immediately on the line. I am fairly certain she said the organization's name was so****ing like, Career Solutions. She asked if I would verify some basic information about me and that it would take anywhere between 5 - 45 minutes... I didn't have that amount of time free on my hands at that moment and took down a return number which is 646-360-1661 ("a non-working number" btw). Also, I had failed to follow up on two emails, due to time constraints, from this address: [email protected]; I think the two are the same company...Anyway I feel like the company is legitimate, but uses some sketchy call center abroad (but what do I know I never went through the 5 - 45 minute conversation). I wouldn't be too concerned with them, just don't freely provide your social security number, as only your true employer with need that, not the agency that fills the jobs...Know what I mean?
i called the number back. After a brief wait, a woman verified my basic information and mentioned an application I submitted for a position, which was accurate. She asked a few more questions regarding salary, then said the information would be forwarded to the company. She did mention the type of job I submitted for, so I'm not sure if this is a scam or not.
same here. i have been looking for a job so hard. i finally thought i was getting a job. i sat on the phone for 30 mins listening to the recording over and over and over a***n. it didnt hit me at that time that it might of been a scam or so****ing. it is horrible how people knowing the economy is ******d right now, that they can call and get peoples hopes up.
Everything everyone else said about this phone number is true. It is Totall BS and a waste of evryone's time that calls that number back. No one answers at all, and it wastes time and money esp. if u have pre-paid cell phone or minutes, they'll be gone.
They called me and I didnt call the number back to talk to a rep. Any client thats so secrective in who they are, is not worth my time.
I received a call from****-963-8368 on my cell phone. I do not have my cell phone number listed on my resume and am not giving it out in job applications, so I don't know how they got it. The recorded message stated they were calling to verify information I had already given to a****ential employer, their client, and a verification specialist would come on the line shortly to obtain additional information. I ***g up. This is total BS and it makes me angry as I have been looking for another job for two years now (I was laid off from my last two jobs). I hope the party responsible for this cruelty is stopped and prosecuted. If they think I'm going to be taken in by their ruse, they are sadly mistaken.
I thought that I finally found a job, but I guess people were just having fun with my information that I submitted online thru those so-called applications for jobs. I don't understand why do people think it's okay to mess around like that. This should be regarded as an harrassment and it should be made illegal.
Call is just a recording that says their calling for an anonomous company that you've put an application in with online. Then you call the number back and it gives you a recording, telling you that you will speak to the next representative and all you do is sit there on the line listening to job tips, and information suggesting that you seek out further education. No one answers.
