Unknown caller

A week ago I asked to be put on this organization's do-not-call list and was told "OK."  But the calls keep coming.  It may be too early but how long does it take to modify a calling list after all?

Have received calls from this unknown caller and caller does not leaqve a message.

My Voice mail recorded a young female voice say "hello,*****o" and then only background sounds for at least 30 seconds.

Twice so far today I got the calls - no one there when I answer the phone.Must be another one of those ROBO-calls.  Annoying.These people need to know I am on the do-not-call list.Hopefully they will pester someone else from now on.

Called 5 times so far. left no message. caller unknown.

A ma****e answers when you call the number.  The voice says they are the non profit group, mentioned in an earlier comment, and they will call you a***n.  Also, if you wish them to no longer call you, just push #1.  Affirmed after pushing #!....they will remove your number but it may take up to 30 days.

Receive these calls always during the day and didn't recognize the number.They never leave a message.  Now that i know who it is, I will call and ask to be taken off their calling list.  Thank you.

called the number back and it is donor care center for Missionary Oblates.

called several times.  never anyone there when anwering.  getting tired of this anoying call.

This number rings at my home in Georgia several times per week; no message is left with my answering service.

Calls every morning but no one on other end. So****ing odd about this number. I am in eastern Pennsylvania

I got a man who didn't identify himself or his organization and ended the call after I told him my wife (whom he asked for by name) was not home.  That's not a good approach even if you do good work.  I'm here because I looked up the phone number which comes from southern Illinois.

calls come almost daily, at different times. No message, just stops after four rings.Very annoying!!!!!

Called but did not answer phone.Waited for switch over to voice mail but no message received.

If you call them you get a recorded message, when you think it's over, wait a moment and they will give you instructions to be added to their do not call list.  All very pleasant.

This number calls my home everyday all day. No message is left. Very annoying.

Calls nearly everyday, I do not answer calls from "unknown name".

We've had several calls from that #, but it's on our home ph, and we never answer that.  Usually even if we DO know who the caller is.  Thanks Claire for the info.  That totally makes sense.  I think I know which family member got me on their prospect list.

have had 2 phone calls from this number--when I answer-no one is there

received a call from this number today.  it was a woman identifying herself as someone working with the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, a Roman Catholic religious order of priests, hq'ed in the midwest.  she was polite, respectful and made her pitch for a donation to the priests' retirement fund. there was no hard sell, and she even offered a blessing and to say a prayer for me.

Second call from this number within a week. No one replies after I answer the phone.
