They called me several times and a 4 digit number appeared so i ignored it.. Then they contacted my ex-boyfriend telling him i was in serious trouble and needed to pay up.. We have no idea how he got his number but this is very scary... Has anyone reported this yet? I am just afraid they are gonna call my family members or other friends who are gonna fall for this scam and s**** to panick. This has got to stop! Let me know what u think...

I have been getting harrassed by this heavy accent man by the name of jhon peter smith and he has been threating my home,job,and to put me behind bars. Well I called my local police station and I got the atterney generals number and the federal trade commission number to file a compliant because ***ody calls and threatens my home & job and my freedom this S##T!!! Ends today!!! Im getting  harrased because my sister put me down as a reference for a loan without asking me first. They need to teach these people proper english and how to talk to people with respect!!!!

I received a message at work from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations. The person that called me was name Jason and this is the number 618-433-3073 ext. 193.Jason spoke with a heavy accent I could hardly understand what he was saying. I had to keeping asking  him to repeat waht he was saying.Jason stated that I owe company called U.S. Cash Advance for payday loan in the amount of 988.00and I took the loan out in December 08 or January 09 in the amount of $200.00. But with all the lawyer fees and court cost my total was 988.00. I check my bank statement but there was not deposit from that company.

yeh, they have been calling my house for days now. saying he is officer peter smith from beaura(sp?) of crime investigagtion.last year my husband had a similar call from a man whith a heavy accent as well with an unusual area code.the man stated that my husband was in serious legal trouble and then went on to threaten him. my husband called hislawyer and nothing ever came of it.

I was called by a heavy accented man and I was told I was going to be picked up by the law if I didn't pay over 900.00 I owed from a payday loan I was have supposingly taken out but had no idea who thesepeople were. They keep calling and harassing, I'm a elderly lady, sick with cancer and they still have no concense. What can be done about these people?

When this person called (very heavy foreign accent), he said he could not give out the name of the company he represented. Interesting Note: Caller ID # was not the same phone number I was to call back. When I called back the caller ID # (blocking my phone number by dialing *67 first), a recording came on stating your call cannot be completed as dialed. This happenned 4x in a row from 2 different phones I called from.
