irs scammer call. i have caller id and never pick up numbers i do not recognize.

Received a call saying it was the IRS and they were filling a law suit.

phone call..said he was calling re a virus on my computer and did I have my computer on, this was not the first call from a scammer with the same story. Scam for sure...i asked how he got my # he made up some story and then I asked where he was calling from....he said NY. Spoke very poor English

Same deal.. Some Non-Speaking English Guru called about windows system.. when I told him I am not falling for his scam considering he didn't get my name right and kept asking me for my name when I asked him to tell me who he was trying to call.... he said F&*K.... then I told him Wait.. I'll get my MasterCard and give him the pin and called me ****** when I told him to get a real job and ***g up...

When answered person would not talk. Then tried to call back and recording said that phone number was disconnected..

Definately SCAM. My boyfriend got a call from this number, reverse phone look up show it's from IL, but we don't know anyone in IL, he tried calling, someone picked up then ***g up, he called a***n and the number was disconnected

Received a call August 5/11 from a woman with a strong asian accesnt saying she was calling from the "Computer Maintenance Department of Windows Operating System". When I said Microsoft doesn't call users she insisted she was from "Windows Operating System". I ***g up. Obviously a scam. Not the first call of this type I have had (at least 8 others). Same story. I take the same action. Wish I could shut this off.
