Today I received a call from a parlegal who referred me to a law firm saying i had 3 charges held a***nst me and that they tried to take funds out of my account- I did notify my bank nut i think i should c****e my acct number or close my acct  they did get all my info from online loan applications but never went thru with the loan-  what do you think i should do other then conetct my bank and my credit bureaus?? any advise is appreciated thanks

Some man called my mother's home asking for me. She told them I didn't live there, he said, "are you sure?" ***? Asked him what was this in reference to and he told her that it was a legal matter. Thank goodness for Caller ID because he told her his name was Jacob but the called ID said his name was "Azwar" So she gives me the phone number and I call and asked for Azwar. He said that there were 3 charges a***nst me and that they were for financial fraud, iden***y fraud and so****ing else. I never used their payday loans at all! He said I needed to hear what he had to say and I told him none of this was true. He said, "OK, bye" and ***g up the phone. I guess he figured he wasn't going to scam me this easily. I called a***n and I got a voicemail, and another time he ***g up on me! He left a voicemail at my job. It's a scam. Don't let them scare you.

Guy phoned today and said i had legal charges a***nst me and to call back and ask for a Catherine Johnson. Knowing already that it was BS i called back a few hours later to see what the supposed crimes a***nst me were. A man answered and said that i had money laundering an illegal check fraud and some other ridiculous money crimes a***nst me. For a quick fix all i had to do was pay a certain amount of money that i could wire from my bank account and the charges would be dropped. i told him my ***her worked for the Federal Government,  which he does, and that i just recorded the whole conversation. he was silent and then quickly said the charges would be filed tomorrow and ***g up. Why can't someone stop these people. I've been getting these same types of calls for weeks from the same type of middle eastern accent from different numbers all with some baloney story. There has to be so****ing done about this.

I got a call from these idiots this morning tell me they were pressing charges on me for theft and fraud. First of all not paying back a payday loan is not a criminal offense these idiots dont know what they are talking about.. He mentioned a checking account that I dont have and he said I talk to the bank manager and he confirmed it was my account.. I told this SOB where to go.. They try to "settle out of court" they want to try to get $445 from you so that they wont take you to court. So please beware of these A**holes and their scam

This phone number called our home phone looking for my boyfriend. The man said he was a lawyer calling from a law firm...His name was JOHN SMITH. I laughed and handed my boyfriend the phone. they threatened him saying that he has a warrant for his arrest and he has criminal charges on him!!!! I s****ed screaming that i was going to call the police and my very laid back bf continued to listen to this guy on the phone. He gave him the name of this woman(another generic name) to call back at the same phone # that he was calling from. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!! THIS MAN HAD AN ACCENT OF MIDDLE EASTERN DESCENT (NOT PROFILING-JUST STATING FACT) THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR WEEKS NOW. I HAVE LOST MY PATIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY, W***VER THEY ARE. IM REPORTING THEM NOW TO WHATEVER AGENCY I CAN. I HOPE EVERYONE ELSE DOES THE SAME

I received a message from this number this morning.  The caller who had a very thick accent, went on for a minute and thirty seconds claiming if I did not return his call "I would be sorry." Caller Name: Jake Watson

I recieve i phone call from these people sayn that i owe them 921.00 dollars i see its a scam now they c****e there number but be the same person calling all the time he c****e his frist name but always use the same last name of watson.

told me i wrote a fraduelent check .also called me at work .and it sends you in a panic cause your in work .these a**holes left me a message on works answering ma****e by the time i called back i realized what was going on and have been tormenting the***** out of them cant do nothing else so i call every couple days telling im a district attorney .the law office of ishtar and a**hole the language is so broken i had to listen to it about 6 times just to get the number .i feel bad for the people who dont catch on .

I received a threatening message this morning from this number from some woman said that if I didn't return the phone call that she feels sorry for me and that she was calling from some law firm, I was so mad I don't remember the name of the so called Law Firm but she had an extremely heavy accent and I could barely understand what she was saying so I called the number back and the man that answered the phone said Ashly went to the court house and when I asked what this was regarding he said they did not want to hear from me but wanted to hear from my attorney and then ***g up in my face. When I called back and asked him what this was about he said you just sit there and ***g up in my face a***n and when I tried calling back he just kept ****ing up in my face!! This is so crazy and there should be some law a***nst this type of harrassment!!! He too had a very heavy accen***he craziest thing was that he would not even tell me what it was about????

I got a call saying I was going to be picked up by the police at my place of work for a payday loan that has been paid. The caller would only tell me that the lawsuit was from cash advance but would not supply me with a number to call someone from that company. I tried finding the number for that company through there web site, but non is listed.

Hi,  Same thing with me - I reached out to the Michigan Attorney Generals Office for help - This so called "Law Firm" is not a law firm... They are now disconnecting calls on me that I make to them.  They left a message at my office as well.  I think they must have gotten my name from a loan application..Scary stuff.  As you, I have no outstanding/deliquent Pay Day loans.......  I think I am going to have fun with this- bring them to their knees if at all possible........My bank has been notified as well.   They opened a new account for *****e Consumers Protection Division is investigating the number. It has been claifed that they are not a law firm.....The State Bar has no listing of that number in their files via the State of California.

I got a call from this number and I'm worried because the man knows all of my personal information. He know's my place of employment and my roomates names. He is a scammer so don't give any information.

Sandra Williams left a message. The message was unintelligible due to her thick accent. When the call was returned a VM message came on that said the mailbox was full.

I just got a call from this number on my work phone. Of course I didnt answer and it was a foreign man telling me that he needs to hear from me or my attorney the second I get the message. He said if he does not hear from me that he will be contacting my employer. I was getting the calls on my cell phone and when I called the number back all I got was a voice mail. I did leave a message telling the man that if this was so****ing so important that he needed to send me so****ing in writing telling me exactly what I owed and what it was for. Never heard back but didnt give my address. Now he is calling my work phone and yes that is harras*****t. I am not allowed to have calls at work and could lose my job for this ****!!!!!

One of our members got a call. Caller( no accent) threatened her with prosecutions of theft, theft by deception and used the caller name of Attorney Jake Watson from this same phone number. I'm just concerned about the previous posting of being unable to report this unless it's a $100,000 loss or****ential loss. Same old, same old: "Catch the mice and the Elephants are running wild".

These scammers called my place of work and told me this is the second and last time that they are gonig to contact me before repossessing my house.  The ****** thing is that I do not own a house, I rent so how can the repossess what is not mind and not theirs to take.Anyways, these people are scammers.  Do not give away personal financial information.
