I got calls from them too. It was yes****ay (the fifteenth). I was extremely upset by this too. First a woman left a threatening voicemail on my phone then I called the number back and spoke to this horrible man. He will ask that you pay with Walmart or Walgreens prepaid cards ****racable). He was very ***ue about who I actually owed and acted like a major bully. He tries to throw you off with this bully routine. Also, he is only interested in targetting women from what I can tell. His story fell apart when my fiance` called him back. He went as far as to threaten him with violence and claimed he worked for the district attorney. The REAL Scott Williams/Nichols is an attorney out of San Diego and my fiance` spoke to him. They've been getting complaints all year about this guy. My info. came from a payday loan too. I have read other places that the police and FBI are now involved. I sympathize with everybody-Jessica I'm a mom too, living with an illness, living on a tight budget and almost sent them most of my money!! This is a very cruel scam, but they all are. What makes this one different is that this guy is so vicious and mean! They told me I'd be locked up in an hour if I didn't send them the money, would lose my tax return, my job and have to stay in jail until court. Oh-and they said they could have my license revoked. It's all designed to overwhelm you but if this happens to you, just remember-no one collects debts this way. You have to be notified by mail, then you are given a good amount of time to respond, then it goes to collections and can hurt you credit rating for sure if you don't pay your actual debts. No collections attorney has power over the DMV, the IRS etc. I was scared too. My fiance` kept a cool head and knew immediately it was a scam. This is why he is targetting women around the holidays..we tend to get frighened easier and we are all on edge trying to make ends meet at Christmastime.

YES DONT GIVE THEM MONEY. HE SAID HIS NAME WAS SCOTT NICHOLS. HE SAID HE WORKED FOR SALLE MAE HE DOSNT WORK FOR THEM. IVE TALKED WITH THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT HE DONT WORK FOR THEM. ITS A TOTAL SAM. IVE BEEN AT THIS ALL DAY UNFORTUANATLY AND IVE SEEN DOZONS OF OTHER PHONE SITES WITH THIS NUMBER AND ITS THE SAME STORY. ITS A SCAM HE DOESNT WORK FOR TARGET OR SALLIE MAE OR WALMART OR ANT PAYDAY LOAN COMPANY. HE WILL SOUND CONVINCING BUT DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY MORE MONEY, DONT GIVE THEM MEN ANY MORE OF THE INFO THEN THEY ALREADY HAVE. HE DID MENTION SO****ING TO ME THAT ONLY I KNOEW THAT I PUT DOWN ON A PAYDAY LOAN OVER THE INTERNET THATS HOW I KNOW THEY GOT THERE INFORMATION. PASS THIS SH** ON PLEASE PEOPLE VERY IMPORTAND THIS MAN HAD ME SHAKING AND CRYING AND TOTALY SICK BELIEVING HIM. HES VERY GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES. RECORD THE CONVERSATIONS WHO CARE THAT THEY SAY ITS A***NST THE LAW AT THIS POINT WHATS WORSE THEM SCAMING A MOTHER OF 3 WITH NO MONEY AND NOTHING FOR HER 3 KIDS AT X-MAS NOT EVEN ONE SMALL PRESENT OR EVEN A TREE FOR MY KIDS AND YES IM TALKING ABOUT ME.
