this number called me today too and left a message saying "hey sweetheart it's me just calling to see how youre doing, love you bye" it was weird 'cause i figured that if they were calling their girlfriend, they'd know their answering ma****e message!!???

this number is the router number for north island naval base (coro***o ., san diego) 80 percent of the bases land lines are routed through this number

that is funny as***** i just got the number it's actually my ex calling but is at NAS but use to be on that same ship USS Peleliu

I got a call from 619-437-4721 at 8:50pm on 3-29-10.  I never answer numbers I don't know, but they left a 2-second silent voicemail and ***g up.  I tried calling back just now and it gives the "We're sorry, this number has been disconnected" message.  Mysterious that so many other people are getting calls from that number, too, and then magically is disconnected?  I'm in San Diego, and know a couple people who are in the military... but there's no reason why they would call me from a switchboard when they can email / facebook / call me from their cell phone.

this phone number is a military switch board number from nas north island. if you know any military members it is probly them

I got 2 calls from that number this morning at 0715 and 0725. I didn't answer the call but was left with a voice mail from some lady saying hey to a name I couldn't make out in the recording but then she went on to say I love you. I'm native to San diego but I'm currently stationed in Pensacola.

got a call around twelve thirty. someone wanting to know who i was. wouldn't tell him. so he got mad after 5 minutes of making fun of him for trying to sound like a badass he finally said he was going to ***** me in the face.****** people are funny.

My buddy at the Pro Shop on the golf course at NI called me, and this is the number that was displayed.  When I tried to call him back, I got the disconnected message.Hope that helps the guy who got accused of having the affair, if he's still married.  So****ing tells me he's heard more accusations by now.

It's the North Island Navy Base in San Diego.  They use this number as a router number from other phones though so this number may show up even if the caller isn't in San Diego.  The call is being routed from the Navy Base in San Diego but sometimes that means it's coming from a ship, from another Naval Base, from "the Island" off the coast of SD or only God and the Navy know where else.  I keep it programmed in my phone so I know to answer it when my love is deployed.

I have a friend who works at North Island (for the Navy), and when he called me from his work (today 10-30-08, 1:45 PM)) it gave me this number on my cell phone.  When I called back, it said the number had been disconnected.Luckily, he left me a proper voicemail and let me know it was him, and he gave me a different number than the one listed to call back.  So I can confirm it's a number from the Navy base, from North Island.  Perhaps they have a phone system in place that uses this number (which maybe once was real) as a fake number to display when they call out from the internal numbers.  That way, they don't get blocked by Caller ID block programs, but still the number is nothing.  (I hope that made sense).

might as well add my take on this.  just recieved a call a few minutes ago from this number.  i'm from san diego but i'm stationed in hawaii.  don't know who or why they called.  pretty strange.

I got a missed call from this number on 20 Aug 2008 and called back, the line or number is out of service and has been disconneted.  To make things worse my lovely wife is accussing me of having an affair with this number. We even called AT&T to verify if the number really has been disconnected.Hey you with telepone number 619-437-4721, I'd like to know who you are if I'm having an affair you.

just received two calls from this number. I did not answer the call hoping they would leave a message, no message left. I tried to call back but got the disconnected number message.

This is an AT&T customer phone number for tne Navy on Coro***o. It seems to be a link from the ships to call dependents. It seems to be an ongoing problem.  I am going to contact the North Island public service officer and complain and suggest you do the same.  The number is in the phone book.

This person called me at 6:14 in the MORNING!!  I didn't answer, nor did I receive a voice mail.  I tried to find out who it belongs to but the only available info was that it's a landline from Coro***o, CA.  I live in SOUTH EAST san diego.. and all I know is that the residence there are mostly OLD FOEGIES!  Someone must be BORED!

This number called me today too -- played oldies-- 2 songs and then nothing. Too weird.

this time they played surf music on my voice mail, most of the time it is just a **** up missed call

I received calls from this number at 5, 5:06, and 6:33 in the morning.....come to find out, it was my Navy enlisted spouse trying to call from the gulf onboard the USS Peleliu.  Do you know someone who qualifies as such?
