Well not trying to scare anyone, but my son is in USMC recruit training. I had several missed calls from this number on my caller ID when I got home. I wasn't sure so I called his recruiter, turns out he was admitted to the hospital, and is now awaiting his medical discharge.

I got a call from this number around 11:30pm and ***ody answered on the other line. My hubby just joined the Marines and I think it could have been him. Just would have been nice to hear a voice instead of nothing.

I received a phone call from this number, I did not answer; however, we I called the number it states that it's a none working number.

It is a general switchboard number for the Naval Base.  Even if the phone call is from a different number, it will just show that number for security reasons.

It's now a fax number.

it's a general military number and usually if you call it back it says you are unauthorized to call it.  my hubby calls me from it when he's at work.

got a call 10pm ct. last night  ummm idk why ?????  i just got my number c****ed a month ago .. and ever since i got my # c****ed all i get is random #s.. but nothing from the Navy .

That is the number used by any naval or coast guard vessel docked at station sand diego. it's a universal number. that is why when u call it back it sayd that it is a non working military number. nothing to be alarmed about.

The number is an appointment reminder call from the Naval Medical Center, here in San Diego.  It's an automated message system that reminds you of your upcoming appointment.

It's also a number that will call you to make arrangements for transporting your stuff if you're military.

called and s****ed going off about oil sales with pizza hut and he wanted to buy oil for biodiesel. He said he was with J L Ranch.

This number to my understanding is the number that will contact you if you or someone you know has gone U.A. From either the Marines or the Navy.

I got a call from that number last night @11 EST. no message. My daughter is stationed in San Diego. It is a Navy number
