Attorney General Dana Nessel is warning consumers to watch out for a new credit card scam, according to a press release. The resident, who reported the scam to the Nessel's Consumer Protection Department, said they received a call from a scammer who insisted that a new Michigan law had been passed which dissolves credit card debt — as long as a person's credit card number, expiration date, security code and ZIP code were provided.
