I must have wrong number

I have a land line with no mailbox on it and a person from this number has been calling every day for the past month. I never answer. Today I finally did and they asked for my by my MAIDEN name of 40 years ago! What is going on?????

I got a call but didn't answer. I called back and got no answer.

don't know who they are. they keep calling then hanning up

If you call this number it says "the number you dialed is not in service" with very loud beeping (be warned!)

I also got 4 calls from 314-277-4480 within 5 days, different times of the day and when I answered no one would reply. This makes me really nervous for my safety, if people are "casing" my house as someone below said. that area code and its first 3 numbers (314-277) are the first numbers in my own telephone number (cell). Are they phishing??? Typing random numbers? ***k off,****holes!

Sorry, 314-757-7711 was not the number who called me. It was 314-776-4929. I looked at the wrong one. But that it definitely it. It was a woman who did the same exact thing as the man on this page's number. STILL SU****IOUS!!!!!

*** I just realized another person from another number also called me today saying they had the wrong number, a woman this time. That number was 314-757-7711 and when I looked it up it was from St. Louis, where I just moved from. It was supposedly from a doctor's office that I had never heard of or been to, ever.

I just moved to P***nix a month ago from out of state. Man called my cell phone (that is unlisted and that I rarely give out to non-friends/family) and said he had the wrong number. It seemed odd to me because he waited several seconds before answering me when I first said*****o, so it seemed telemarketer-y like he was using an auto-dial. VERY SU****IOUS!!!! It's probably telemarketers checking to see what numbers are active so they can sell them or use them to call in the future. The number has now been named "Spam AZ" in my contacts, and if it comes up a***n my phone will know it was not an innocent wrong number.

Have had several calls lately and man always says"I have the wrong number."

Called office land line. Since it's just listed as "wireless" I just pick up the receiver and **** up. Anyone I want to talk to their iden***y appears.

They are probably trying to see who is home and who is not home so they can try to rob our homes? I answered and they do not say anything for 10 seconds and then they **** up. Since i'm in San Jose, ca-- maybe they are casing my neighborhood?

Called twice on my cellphone 10 minutes apart, left no message. Annoying

Called on land line I think its at least second time. Claims to have called wrong number.
