Discover card collections

As someone who has never owned a Discover account, I, too, can say that being called several times a day 7 days a week is incredibly obnoxious. Even worse is that this call acts like a collect call for me, and leaves nonsensical text messages after every call that I do not answer.I'm deeply skeptical of these posts that claim this number is legit. Perhaps they are ghost accounts of this scammer?

Discover did the same to me - called me on my cell phone at work and left a message.  My payment is only 10 days late and this is the first time it has ever been late.  I told them to remove my "cell/work" number from their records and to only call my "home/work" number (I am self-employed).  She agreed, but we'll see.

Repeated calls, 4 or more times a day, but left no message. When I do answer a recording says "please wait" but no human picks up the line in a reasonable amount of time.

Make it stop!!

To N:Your calls have stop? That's nothing short of  a miracle. I don't have a Discover card, we closed it years ago. Then this year,they s****ed to call and call.... and we told them to put us on the "DO NOT CALL" list. They say they will take our number out of their data base and guess what? THEY NEVER DO.  THEY CONTINUE TO CALL.  This has been going on for over 6 months. THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW.  We don't owe them any money.  They are trying to get us to sign up for a credit card.  We got another call today and last week received their credit card opportunity junk mail.  I hope they go out of business!!

Phone number calls 5-8 times a day. When i answer no one is ever there just ****s up. I called back and it said it was discovery card. I dont even have a dam discovery card.

Why wouldn't you just tell them how long you've had the number so they would stop calling.I got a call. It's discover. I was late on my payment. Pay your bill and calls stop. Can't afford to pay your bill? Quit running up Credit Cards.

I get about 5-6 calls a day. This number is listed to Discover Card. I'm wondering if I can file a class action suit a***nst them for harrassment.  Because they are calling my cell phone while I'm at work.

this number keeps calling every day and they have you hold for a while and say please hold for an important message...no then no one is on the line

Called me for the first time today on my cell. 3x !!10am, a guy. Asking for "Sheena Dawn". Upon telling him he got the wrong number, the guy insisted that was the number he was given and asked me how long I had this number. I responded that's none of his business, he still insisted so I ***g up. 1pm, a woman. Told her a***n she got the wrong number. She asked how long I had this number, I told her none of her business and asked who she is. "So****ing Financial Services". (Didn't catch the first word.) She asked "Why don't you cooperate and tell me how long you had this number so I can update our system". I told her cuz I got nothing to do with her, so she won't get any information or whatsoever from me. End of conversation, I ***g up.7:30pm, I didn't pick up, no voice mail left. (Pretty late for "business" calls from a financial service and atypical not to leave a message, huh?)Sure they'll call a***n but I will not pick up anymore.

Continued calling and leaving blank messages on my voice mail is costing me minutes to delete these blank messages. blank message meaning they hold the line till my voice mail picks up, but then **** up. very frustrating!!!

i went online and recorded the tone from a disconnected phone onto my answering ma****e it seems to have slowed down the debt calls and messages

calls at least 30 times a day everyday ( which is a***nst the law)  and each call is back to back. harassment and  rude calling from 7am to 950pm which is also a***nst the law has been told in writing to cease but still calls

This is a auto dailer from Discover Card, if you don't answer it will dail a***n, if you do answer it. It will auto dail a***n.

calls but know one there

once a***n..call from 623***2547, and once a***n, no answer when i said*****o, then i hear "please hold" 2 second wait "please hold" this went on for 10 minutes or so. I just wanted to speak to a LIVE person to tell them to NOT call me. Oh by the way,,,,STOP CALLING ME NOW!!!!!!!!!

They call a few times a day! STOP CALLING MY NUMBER!!

Call center operator was clueless and rude and couldn't answer some of the most basic questions. She just kept reading form her screen/card about whatever she was trying to say. Sad and pathetic...

Definitely a debt collector.

I have getting calls from this number at all times of the night and morning. they have been calling on my cell and home phone. When I try to answer no one is there. It has been very annoying. How can I make them stop.

They have called 14 times a day for the last 2 months, looking for someone that does not live in this house. I will be sending Discover card a bill for $50.00 for each call, and bill them for the hours, that I have in involved in this. I would suggest that everyone having this problem with Discover card do the same. After that I will get a lawyer to pursue the $42,000.00 bill.

calling about a discover card, i dont even have a discover card. s**** calling around 6am, and have called 3 times in the last 4 hours.

They call 5-6 or more every day... holidays and weekends too! I can't block the number, and they NEVER leave a message. If I answer, ***ody is there.

Calls minute after minute

this number is ringing my house all day and all night. my kids picked it up once and no one answered and I picked it up once to tell them to take us off their list but no person on the line. I think it is a "fishing" phone call to see what time people are home to sell to telemarketers.

This number calls my work phone number every single morning at 8:30 am and never leaves a message or anything. So annoying.

My caller ID just shows the number and says "P***nix, Az." When I answer the call, there is ***ody there. ***ody speaks, no recorded message, nothing. I have received 3 or 4 calls per day from this number for about two weeks.

Discover Card, I spoke with them last week and told them that I am going to file for Bankruptcy, but do not have a lawers as of that moment. Guess the last person didn't enter the info in the system. The have called 2 times already today.

Collection service for Discover Card, calling because i was past due with a min monthly payment. I suspect its not in-house, but, rather, a third party they've contracted, but I'm not at all certain about that. Either way, of course, paying the bill --eventually --ends the calls, although maybe not till several days later.

How to make them stop calling.

I knew I was late on my bill (by 5 days) s****ed calling on Sa****ay morning and called 17 times between 8:30am and 9pm and then a***n on Sunday 12 times at both my home and on my cell...never once left a message...that's irritating..I can understand being extremely late, but 5 days and they call you like that...wow

This person runs automated voice messge to call 866? number. My phone number is registered to "Do Not Call" list, so I'm not supposed to receive any kind of calls...

This number called me 12 times in one weekend.

Call and leave no message, if its discover card they are barking up the wrong tree I guess cause I don't have one

we are on the state and federal do not call list, yet we are constantly getting calls from this number. why are they not calling when we have gone thru the time and expense to get on these lists. it is like someone opening the bathroom door while i am on the thrown. a..holes.

They stopped calling when I paid my bill

called and left a message for me to call this number: 800-347-0332, saying it was very important that I call before 9:00pm.

Called every day and wouldn't leave a message. When I finally answered, it was a recorded message that kept saying "Please hold for an important message".

Received 10 calls since 12/30 between the hours of 9:30 AM & 8:45 PM. No one is there when I answer and no one leaves a message when I don't. C-ID says Discover Financial. I checked with Discover Card and they say it is not them. Very Irritating!

Calls 4-5 times a day, sometimes s****ing as early as 7:30am. Never leaves a message. Answered once, but no voice or noise on the other end. Very annoying!

Discover Financials (on id phone) call about 3-4 times a day. I picked up once and it says please dial 77 and I **** up. This has been going on for over a month now.
