Got a call from this number with Caller ID showing "Medicare". A search on this number showed no such thing! Call originated from Monrovia, CA! Absolutely bogus call -- has SCAM written all over it! Do not answer this call or give out any personal information!!!
Called Monday, June 4 at 5:45 PM. Believe it was phony. Agree that Medicare should call from an 800 number. They said my name & asked me to confirm it. Then asked for my weight & height. ***g up.
Same here I blocked them.
I had a call from this number this evening and the caller ID said Medicare. I know that Medicare does not call you unless you call them and I would expect that it would be an 1-800 number shown or U.S. Government. So my conclusion since there is no information in your Database, it is SCAM.
