ST on called ID, no message left.

No message

Called A***N today with slightly different number: 646-503-1885. SIMILAR but different. Same "ST" on Caller ID and SAME SCAM, trying to get you to send $50 for shipping for a 'free' (probably non-existent) 'cream.'

Folks if your phone provider supports Call forwarding/Answer Anywhere, by all means get with the NOMOROBO plan as you will be helping yourself and everyone else by automatically blocking these vermin. It is free for me from both NOMOROBO and TWC. While these forums are only good for complaining they have no ability to solve the issue but at least NOMOROBO does. Forget asking the government for any help as they are in collusion with the phone companies. Government is almost never the solution.

I received 4 calls within a 15 minute time period. I picked up the receiver but there was no one on the other end.

Pushing pain medications

Call on landline, 3:08PM today. Caller ID says "ST" with this number. (WHAT does that MEAN?) We were out; NO MESSAGE left. Curious, but not going to call them. Will register a complaint with the DNC list. Funny thing; we seem to be a**** the FIRST to get a lot of these calls lately; I come to 800Notes and there are only a FEW other complaints, often within the first day or two of a number s****ing to call people. Wonder WHY we are so 'privileged?' We do NOT answer these calls, have been registered on the DNC List (and register a complaint after EACH and EVERY one of these calls) often pick up/**** up (if we are home) to BREAK the call and 'confuse' the robodialer and HAVE NEVER GIVEN OUT PERSONAL INFO nor 'been scammed' by these calls. We also have TWO Call Blocking Systems with one FULL and the other about a third of the way there, just since last Xmas. And yet, we are one of the 'Go To' numbers to call ALL THE TIME. ***? ***! WHILE I was typing this ANOTHER one of these calls came in from 202-503-1072!! ANOTHER long distance/out of our area call. NO NAME on Caller ID this time. LIKELY SPAM and LIKELY CONNECTED to THIS number. SEE what I mean???
