THESE GUYS CALLED MY PHONE MY GIRLFRIENDS PHONE AND THEN MY WORK, WHEN I SAID I LOOKED THEM UP AND THEY WERE SCAMMERS THEY ***G UP! UNREAL!

I have had two different numbers calling me saying they are from different companies but their messages are the same. Threatening to prosecute if not contacted and that it's on me if I don't return their calls The first one called from (916)3950000 and left a call back number of (954)6074504 he said he was calling from the office of John miller.  The other one said his name was Robert Dugusta he called from 626-768-2899 he said he was calling from the legal dept of ocs.  He also called my husbands cell as well as my best friends and her husbands phone saying he was trying to locate me and if I didnt call to get the debt settled they were gonna prosecute and I would go to jail.  When they have called they all let it go to voicemail so have I so I have all the messages still but not sure what to do. I googled the number and they all came to this site or others saying that they were scams. Both guys that called had an arabian accent but were different people.

these guys have been going for a while. they are scammers.

I received a call (my caller ID said it was from the Pasadena area),from someone with an Indian accent named Kevin Johnson telling me that i was being taken to court by advance cash for failing to repay a loan that I had taken out in December 2009. He had my SSN, address, bank account # and driver's license # I've never taken out a loan with this company.

You should report him to you ftc.gov.  I filed a report but I think they are using magik jack because they have different phone numbers.  The number that calls me is from 626-789-0152.

I also keep getting calls from someone who is called Harry Williams. He has an Indian accent. He also stated he had the last four digits to my social security number and that I should contact my attorney. What can we do about such calls? I have also got calls at work from this person.

It was a man with a ****stani accent, said his name was Harry Williams, and that the call was for my ex-husband.  He said that legal action was going to be taken a***nst my ex and his social security number if his call was not returned.  It sounded like the same one that called several months ago.  That was a different number and but the same exact threat.  That one turned out to be a scammer, and he said it was about a $400.00 dollar loan and that the federal government was going to prosecute my ex and put him in jail.  Turned out that my ex had been paying on the loan and at that time only owed 1/10 the amount this man said he owed.
