Leave a CommentPretended to be Wells Fargo and asked about whether the spending I just made on a credit card was in fact me. I said I didn’t have a WF credit card. She seemed confused and said I had applied for one on a few weeks back. When I pushed back, she hung up, so I called WF, and they confirmed no such card application had been received.
