630-757-1820 He told me it was for the Fire Dept. , I asked where he was located at. He said IL . I told him no I wasn't working. His rep;y was yeah you ask where was I from and and your not working , that was a good one. What a ****. First of all we all should know that this type of calls are phony you have to give to your local Fire Dept. Not a org. that collects for them. Our local Fire Dept. posted a story in our local paper saying the money doesn't come to them . So it's all a scam. I am sure some money is giving to some Fire Dept. but I am real sure it goes to a pocket.

guess what,  there are several numbers that claim to be dupage county police. I get calls from at least 4 different phone numbers, all claiming to be police.  I do NOT pick up, but i am getting so disgusted that the phone companys cannot handle this situation. YIPES! I

called at 4:05 on 9-16.wanted a donation of 30-35 for childrens last wishes or so****ing. being out of work said no nicely and they number got lower until at 15.00 i excused myself and ended call.aggressive and ignored my situation. i found this rude.

I don't answer calls where I don't know the number or caller.This number appears repeatedly.

i get these kind of calls all the time- they are fake and do not give money to your local police like they tell you. I ALWAYS tell them I give locally and to not call me any more****GREAT SUGGESTION- RADIO SHACK HAS SO****ING CALL TELLA-ZAPPER (I THOUGHT IT WAS WEIRD BUT A FRIEND TOLD ME TO GET IT- IT WORKED GREAT: ANY CALLS THAT ARE AUTO DIALED LIKE FROM TELA MARKETERS, A SIGNAL SAYS YOUR PHONE IS DISCONNECTED AND THIS TAKES YOU NUMBER OFF THE AUTO DIAL LIST. I USED TO GET TONS OF CALL A WEEK (SOMETIMES 10-12 A DAY) NOW- NONE FROM NO ONE I WANT TO CALL.

Rude telemarketer saying it was raising funds for the DuPage County Sheriff's office. It put me on hold when I answered and then someone picked up. After I politely said "not at this time" and "no thanks" to their they ***g up. This is terrible and I sure hope it isn't actually the Sheriff's dept.

As soon as the caller identified he was from the DuPage County Fraternal Order of Police, I interjected to ask if he actually worked for them or was he with a fund raising company. He responded he was with a fund raising company. I immediately asked what the overhead was. He said he didn't know, but that information could be received if I called an toll free number. Before he could go further, I said it probably would be important to have that information at his fingertips because that is important information people would want to know, and then went on to ask if the organization is listed with the American Ins***ute of Philanthropy for rating ... the caller didn't have an answer and politely ended the call without ever getting an edge in for what he was calling for or asking.
