The same people called me with the same name James Brown, and he wanted me to go to Western Union to receive $5000.00 but I must first send him $300.00 to someone. When I asked why do I have to send you money to receive money he stated that it was to pay the transfer fee. He claimed he called Western Union on 3-way so that I could see that I honestly had money there. But that was so fake. I heard someone WHISPERING in the background telling them exactly what to say and everything that I said. This is a complete and total scam. Do not give out ANY INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE TRYING TO GET YOU TO SEND MONEY TO INDIA FOR THEM.

Lol the same thing happened to me I knew it was a scam ......I cangt lie it was temptimg at the beginingbut I'm not creazy...I have got grants in the future and never did they need my dank info becaue they give you the money ina check....I told james lol I had to call him back becausemy bank infor wasat home...he then said that I could call him back when I got the info...so I decided to get on the web on my phone to see if I can call the new yourk stste dep of grants and there is no such thing.......I'm I hope they don't really take peoples money

received a call from James Brown from New York state grants Arber New York 1-631-693-4371 said I was approved for $30,000.00 in grant money.  He requested bank information; either bank account; or debit information.  said you will have the money in 24 hours.  Called the number back and recording comes on says this person is not avaiable.  this is a landline number; total fraud.  do not give any information.this is a scam.....

First I received a call from (404) 909-8299 (Christopher Johnson) said i was about to receive a 30,000 dollar Government Grant...ask for my bank info (which i gave them a savings account with nothing in it) and the next day Glen (631) 693 - 4371 saying that my bank would only accept a deposit of 25.000 and they would western union me the money but I had to pay 300 wire transfer fee...first of all before they can transfer money they would have to pay before he sent the money.  He even called western union of 3-way..where they do that at?  not the GOVERNMENT! He was getting so frustrated with me because he didn't make sense.  Be careful everyone, there are so many people who rather scam people who work hard for their money than go out and make a living for themselves

I GOT A CALL FROM 631-693-4371 ABOUNT A 30,000 GRANT TAHT I WAS RECEIVING THIS MAN (JAMES ****N) HE HAD ALL MY INFO AND JUST WANTED TO KNOW MY BANK INFO..I CALLED HIM BACK ON JULY 27 2010 AND HE TOLD ME THAT ALL WAS TRUE.. TODAY JULY 28 2010 I CALLED THE NUMBER AND A WOMAN KEEP TELLING ME HE IS NOT IN.. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT IS GO ON FOR THEN TO ASK ME FOR MY BANK INFO..

I've been getting calls on my home phone (twice) ond once on my cell phone (gee, I wonder how they got mthat) saying I've been selected to receive a govt. grant fot $30,000.00 since late last week.  He says his name is James Brown (?!).  Yeah, right, okay.  This is definately a scam.  Also, when I tried calling this number back on my cell phone, there is a recorded message from a woman with an American sounding acccent saying that no one is available to take my call at this time.  Please leave a message after the beep.  Yet, they did reach me minutes later on my home answering ma****e and on my cell phone.  Thius is a scam, folks.  Don't even bother to call them back, seriously.

Same as 202-470-6470. The indian Watson brothers with the BS government grant. This one is Glenn but he also said he is George Bush. Scam indeed!
