Just rec'd a text for me to "Contact: 6317894026 [US Direct Express] Requests Your Attention. [53 32 48**] Accnt Issue. I did NOT return text. I'm certain it is a SCAM however!!!

Got on text message on 5/26/13 "US Direct Express 533248** Acct Issue. Call 631-789-4026". I do not have an account. When I called was asked to punch in my 16 digit card number. Tried to call a***n on 5/28/13 to talk to live operator but all circuits busy. Called real Us Direct Express number and was told that it is a SCAM, so beware.

Same as what the other people are reporting. I didn't call the number, just deleted the thread.

Got a text that said it was from my area code plus first three digits of my phone number, then @vtext.com, saying it was US Direct Express - "Your attention is Requested. (bunch of numbers) Account Issue. Then it said to call this number. Looked up US Direct Express. I do not receive govt benefits and have no need of this card. SPAM ALERT!

I was text by this number asking me to call 6317894026 when I did they asked for my card # I ***g up the phone and called the real direct express number on my debit card and they told me they are not sending out text messages or calling people asking them to give out debit card information. Don't give out any information its is a SCAM. They text me 5/24/2013 at 2:25pm

It asks for a 16 digit debit card number, don't do it!!!!!

I received a text from this number, it said it was from US Direct Express. My initial finding on this is that it is a scam. US Direct Express is a debit card from the US Treasury. I dont think the US Treasury is making cold calls for their debit cards.
