They called my business asking for a person by the name of the ***** account we use when we sign up to****ientially spammy stuff on the internet. Right after calling and asking for the nonexistent person they asked me to hold for an important message from William Dunn. I asked them why I would be waiting for someone for no reason they ***g up. Then my cell phone rang from the same number and I just got silence. If you get a call from these people, just ignore it. You can deal directly with any creditors you have and don't need to make any arrangements with w***ver this is. Hilarious garbage. God bless America ;)
These people are crooks. Their a very rude, bad collection agency. Don't even waste your time with them, I'm an expert in collection agencies. If you wish to pay, pay the orginal creditor!
Received several calls from this number today. ID shows CCS. Male caller looking for someone who doesn't even live at this number!?! These silly people have been told repeatedly they have the wrong number. They in****t that the person they are looking for is at this number. Think it's a collection group.
these guys have been calling for the last two days, and I'm on vacation! A couple times I answered, told them the credit card company that they are calling about knows they have to deal with my attorney, and then I ***g up. Until I get a message saying I have to call a Mr. Hesselmeyer back at an 800 #, with a reference number and that it was a "time sensitive issue". I call to tell him I'm on vacation, call my attorney, and then this **** threatens me, won't give me a straight answer, is rude, puts ME on hold for 4 minutes while he takes another call, hints that the bank is going to sue me, but wont give me a straight answer when I call him out, lies to me and tells me my attorney isnt a real attorney, etc. At first I was scared, until I called my attorney, verified his bar number, and then found THIS site with this ******'s number.....ah, if I see this punk I'll kick him in the face...mess with my vacation will ya!
They call and left no message. Called it back and told them they have a bad number. When I asked her a question of what company was calling, she dropped the line
Dan called me and left a msg telling me he had better hear from me today. This is for a debt that is 7 years old, in fact I called them and told them if they stopped be ****s I'd look into possibly paying it off..it's a small amount..however they continue to be ****s so I'm going to ride it out. I'm fairly sure it's past the SOL anyway. Oh Dan tells me to call him back at his direct number 800-514-2763
For the cell phone users out there use youmail.com. They hear the msg (any kind of msg you pick) and then you can have it set to automatically disconnect after the msg plays. That's where they were added today on my list.
These people call me incessantly. And in my case, I know what it is for. It's for an old insurance policy that I closed and owe $94 on...repeat, $94. The only reason I know this is because 1 time they gave me a website to go to and a file number to access the bill. It was for American Family, and a***n, for only $94. I will be paying this off soon. I have spoken to them once, and tried to get from them what it was about, and they told me that they couldn't disclose that info until I verified some information on myself. During that conversation, they were rude, and downright nasty to me...a***n, over $94. How much commission are they really going to make on that small amount of money? Since then, I either just don't answer the call (get multiple ones on my cell and my home phone per day), or I answer it, and blare loud music or **** the phone on the desk or so****ing. They annoy me, so I annoy them back. With my next pay, I will be paying that debt off, and then, I intend on filing a report with the BBB. What a joke of an organization this is. I hope they enjoy their $9/hour job harassing people. There is a special place in***** for these folks.
I'm 17, and I don't own a credi card or anything. They always ask for a "Jennifer Pike" so it's definitely a scam. All they do is pick a common name and hope they will call them back for some reason..... I always get different #'s that I'm supposed to call them back at. One lady always gives me a differnet number and "case/file number." Bottomline, no need to worry it's a B.S. scam. (A bad one at that).
I have got several calls today from this number to my cell phone and when I answered it no one speaks just dead silence. Each time they do this I am getting charged a minute by my cell phone service provider. I'm not sure what they hope to ***n by not speaking but if this continues they are going to cost me a fortune in phone charges. From what I've read from the comments made on this site these people sound like some real shady characters. If you see this number come up on your cell phone’s caller ID you probably need to ignore it or it will just end up eating away at your hours.
I get calls from this # 636-200-0119 and 866 489-4524, He keeps asking for someone else's name. I keep telling him I am not her and have had my # for 4 years. He wont listen. Calls early am, during the day, around suppertime. Why cant he get the message?
Called me stating they wanted a statement before they filed a judgement. Never said what company they were collecting for. Was extremely agressive without profering any information or answering any of my questions. Then called back repeatedly. David Mane was the person calling.
They call me looking for money I don't owe on a credit card I never had. I am going to ***t them down and eat them.
BTW, they can''t call yourt place of employment if that's a***nst your employers policy! So tell them that it is, and they must stop calling! Also, send a letter to them asking them to cease desist, in accordance with federal law. Good luck!
I get these calls all the time. Just ignore these guys. Creditors don't usually try to sue unless what you owe is $5000 or more. If it even goes to civil court, you can plead insolvancy (you owe more than what you could possibly make to repay the debt). It is important that you go if summoned, otherwise they can garnish you wages. But seriously, collectors get their way by threats. They will scare you to *****. There is not much they can do. If you decide not to pay, they don't get antyhing. Besides, they make HUGE profits off of you! For example, lets say you owed $3000 to a credit card. The collection agency bought that debt for pennies on the dollar, say for $300. Now they are going to keep the profits. By Federal law, you have the right to pay the orginal creditor. Hope this helps!
I received a phone call on Sa****ay 04/26/08 at 8:00AM. The caller with a heavy Hispanic accent asked when I would pay the $594 balance owed to Capital One on a credit card. I explained that the account was paid in full and since closed. He requested that I fax him a copy of the statement showing a zero balance.Instead, I reported it to the local police as an attempted iden***y theft. I also confirmed with Capital One that the account is closed with a zero balance.I receved two more phone calls. Both times, the caller ***g up when answered. I Googled the number and found that it belongs to an attorney, Dan Jordon and is located near St. Louis, MOI will a***n report it to the police as an attempt at iden***y theft.
I just got a call from them looking for my neighbor. I simply told them they have the wrong number. The lengths people will go to to get information!
They have been calling for about 3 weeks straight now looking for payment owed to another company that I owe. Let the recorder pick it up!!!! These people are getting really out of control!!!
I got a call from the same number, but we do not have any credit card debt... interesting to read other commentsbut we have no outstanding debt... this is the first time I had seen this number...
I recieved a call from this phone # 636-200-0119(central credit services} stating that i should contact De*** at a 1 800 #. didnt state what it was partaining to, just that it was urgant that I called back today. turns out it was a credit card collections and De*** was very rude then ***g up on me. They claimed that they can contact my work place and werent very willing to negotiate or work with me on payments longer than 3 mo. for the total pay off. If you call them back they will record all for records and attempt to take you to court for use a***nst you.May be best to ignore if you know what it may be for.
