I just received a call looking for someone and they gave an address saying the pkg. kept being returned to them and that THIS was the EMERGENCY CONTACT number.  Well, I am not in the same state as the person they were looking for so why would THAT ONE be the emergency number for them?  When I pressed to find out the NAME of the company they wouldn't say, just that they had a pkg. to deliver to the person.  I have call tracing feature on my phone so will be having the phone company become aware of this one.  I can further do more if necessary.   Good Luck to all the others and thanks for the information.

This call came in on my cell phone 636-220-7376.  I didn't answer and no message.  It appears from deeper research to be from a company called Players National Locator http://www.playersnational.com/index.asp .  They appear to be a skip tracing company based in or near St Louis MO, with a specialty in mortages and foreclosures, and foreclosure deficiency recovery.  It makes sense in my case, as I am struggling to sell a house prior to it being foreclosed on.  Best of luck to anyone in the same boat.

This is a collection agency. Does anyone know if they are violating any laws by calling ex relatives whose phone numbers you've never been****ociated with. I would love to s**** a class action law suit a***nst them.

This number keeps coming up on my caller ID and when I call it back, it is disconnected. They call during the day when I am out. I do not know what this is- googled it, and found this string. Guess they are still playing their game?

This number keeps showing up on my son's emergency cell phone.....ok...he is 12...what would they want from him???

lots sounds familiar- a female keeps calling my moms house asking for my ex and claiming to have a package for him. mom keeps telling her she don't know where he lives but that don't stop the *****ic woman. apparently she even asked if he lives at my address. i called his cellphone to tell him that he got another call at my moms and to please handle it so they don't be harassing her and he said the woman had already called his work and talked to him and claimed she is only an "outbound" company based out of cincinatti ohio so he can't pick it up and she needs address to send it to. so****ing is very fishy as 1st she obviosly lied about the location.

** UPDATE **If they called saying that they have a package to deliver from Amherst, NY - they are performing a SKIP TRACE and are probably preparing to SERVE you with a notice. Our mortgage was behind and thought that we had worked out a payment arrangement. Apparently the payment arrangement was never "set up" properly, so they began foreclosure proceedings. I received a letter today (direct mail) from Steven J Baum, Attorneys At Law - Amherst, NY - 716-204-2400. I called our mortgage lender and got things straightened out - I have NOT received a visit from anyone - they were simply verifying the information in case they needed to serve us a notice. If you've received this kind of call, you might want to call the attorney's office I've referenced above.

these people called my parents and told them that they had a package to deliver.  Same exact scam as listed above by others.  My mom believed them and confirmed my address.  I am really freaked out about it.

636-220-**** = non-working numberThey called looking for my boyfriend...he has 2 addresses...they asked which address he would physically be at...literally he's physically at neither of them...after I told the woman that there would be someone there to sign, she said it had to be him personally...I then told her that we weren't expecting a package from anyone so she could send it back. They just called his sister this morning - completely unaware of the situation, she confirmed 1 of his addresses...I guess we'll see what this is all about - as far as I know there are no financial issues, no child support, and no arrest warrants. I would love if someone would come back and post anything about a surprise "visit" they've received.

Same exact thing happend to me verbatim that happened to the other person they called from this number....Stated they were overnite express and had a package for me, just wanted to cofirm my address which they already had.....Not sure what the whole things was about......does anyone?

These sleeze bags lie about who they are and why they are calling. They are skip tracing. Told me they were Overnite Express and had a package for my ex-wife. Then wanted to confirm her new address. S*** and slime, beware!

I received a call from this number wanting to speak to my exdaughterinlaw. I told them she does not live here.  They indicated they had a package for her.  They did however have her  past and current address as they gave them to me.  She is having financial problems so I figured it was a collection agency.

Caller female; tried two different numbers that ring to me- but seeking someone unknown; stating she was trying to locate them in order to send out a package via 'Federal Airbourne' (very crafty--no wonder others report hearing them say "FedEx"...?) Not entirely professional. Got the impression she was 'pretexting' (see http://news.zdnet.com/2100-9595_22-6113011.html ) and so I shut up/***g up.I don't trust what these folks are up to-- likely they are seeking folks for some law firm related to child support, or outstanding legal bills or debts, etc... but I don't like their tactics

This number is a hoax....Don't answer when they call...It's another persistant telemarketer or ??

This people call me too, twice, from 636-220-**** and 636-220-7376.  The person told my husband about a package they had for me.

Hi, Glad someone answered. I am from NY also. Don't understand what the purpose of the call is, what do they want. I am concerned because the're is a pregnant woman here. I called the police and asked if they have had any problems with that #, they said no but to lock all doors and let the neighbors know and keep an eye on the house. The numbers are a little different but close enough.

Im from New York and the same thing just happened to me; they called and ask for my name and my wifes and if we were home that they had a package to deliver, now im a little worried, because I dont know who this people is, I traced the call and it goes back to Edward Mosier; 441 Boulder Point Dr, Ballwin MO 63021; actually the number that i got the call from was 636-220-7376; at least I know where it came from but im a little scared now, dont know what to do.

Someone called my son inlaws telling them my number was disconnectedm they said they were fron Fed Ex and were trying to deliver an overnight package, my daughter in law told them when would be the best time to deliver the package, which was after I came home from work, and of cause my # is not disconnected. Of cause we are worried now that this person knows when we are not home. No package has been delivered and Fed Ex said they did not have a package for me and did not make the call.

women called my sister in laws parents, looking for my parents, they had their address and told my sister in law that my parents # was disconnected, they said they have a package they have been trying to diliver for 3 days and wanted to know when was the baest time to diliver it.She claimed she was from Fed X. they called 3 times 2 different phone numbers. when you call the numbers back they are disconnected.The call came rom Missouri. Does anyone know who this is, and what is the point of the call? What do they get out of it?
