Got 2 calls today from them in just ignoring them

Calls an average of 5 times a week. Caller ID shows NEWS. I just pick-up and ****-up, but they keep calling.

calls me multiple times per day, as early as 7:30 am - 9:00 pm. There no names just number listed on caller ID. I won't answer & they have never left a message. Very irritating!

Obviously this person is somehow using this number to do other things because they make calls to my cell every day, never leave a message. I am blocking the number and reporting it to my wireless carrier.

Ten calls in the last 2 weeks. We are on the do not call list and when we mention that, the caller ****s up. This is a landline with SW Bell.

My Caller ID showed "FISA Group". No message was left. I've gotten a call from this number before but "Unknown" was listed on those.

I got a call from this number and no one picked up. And 1 min later I got a call from a debt collector. I think that portfolio recovery uses this number to see if any one is home. Then calls from their number. Caller id is why they can't get a hold of me and I like that. What I don't like are their tactics.

I receive calls from this number on a daily basis..at all times of the day/night. MAKE IT STOP!! My phone is listed on the "do not call list", so why is this happening?

This number calls my house everyday. Sometimes they will call 3 to 4 times a day. When I answer they **** up. I am on a No Call List. I guess it doesn't matter to certain people because rules do not apply to them. It shows up on caller ID as News.

The rep said they were from YES and free ads to Macy's, etc. would be delivered by 10:00am each Sunday. She confirmed my name and address and asked me to say Yes so I suppose they think I agreed to take a newspaper.....which I didn't! I don't have a bird and I don't need paper for the cage! Telemarketer who says they are representing local newspaper. I had signed up for an obscure newspaper because a troubled teen who was a some work study program said he can ***n points for scholarships by signing up people for the paper. I had no interest in the paper, but had believed the teen and signed up hoping that it really will help him. That was a couple of years ago and I had no problems discontinuing the paper. This number s****ed calling me because they obtained my number from the newspaper. For the past two months they call EVERYDAY,upto 4 times daily. I have repeated requested that they stop calling me to no avail. I stopped answering a week after the calls s****ed, but the constant calls are driving me insane

I don't really have complaint. Looks like this number may be legit afterall. My dad received a call from this number and accepted the local newspaper deal the caller was offering. When I told him what I had read here- that it was a possible scam. He called he knew was for our local newspaper to check it out. He said he was told that the company that called from 636-925-1746 does telemarketing for several newspapers and the offer is for real.

When I notice the caller is from "NEWS" I use to not answer it and they would not leave a message. Now when I pick the phone up they **** up but when I call the number back it is a ladies voice mail and she says "leave a message after the tone" but the mail box is "full". I am thinkin' it is a private polling source, contracted by the media (News). It is VERY concerning to me since the lady who is on the voice mail does not give details to why she is calling, except that she represents our local news paper with a great offer. That is a broad statement that obviously would not be telemarketing since we are set up on the 'no call' registry so it makes me wonder if this lady who is polling, simply has to show verification of the answers to the polling questions by showing the caller answered the phone. From there....she can give her own answers. Why would this lady be so mysterious yet she says to leave a message after the tone?? hmmm, sounds very su****ious

This is the PISA Group. Their direct number to corporate is 636-940-2200. They represent you local newspaper. They are calling because you either are recieving your local newspaper or you have canceled it. They are just trying to sell you another subscription. Call the number I listed above and tell them to stop calling you or you will s**** litigation on them. Make sure that you complain to the right departments like the BBB. Nothing is going to be solved by people complaining on line to other people on line.

We cancelled the LA Daily News subscription, but they keep calling to try to get us to susbcribe a***n. They call every single week day. We have asked several times for them to put us on their do not call list, threatened to sue and call the FTC. The calls keep coming.

Please stop calling my home. I have ***g up the phone several times and they wait for a few days and call back. I called that number back and it has a recording stating that the mail box is full and they have a special on daily news. This is a bunch of bull!!!!!!

They call two to three times a day from Missouri to my cell phone which I recently purchased. They are looking for the previous owner of my number. I asked them to stop calling because I am not the person they are looking for but they continue to persist in calling. ANNOYING!

They call at various times of the day and evening.  I am listed with the Gov Do Not Call list.  I filed a complaint today using their internet complaint form.  Let's see what that does.In the meantime do not answer the call, who knows what info they might be capabale of getting if you answer.
