Leave a CommentWas at my parents for the weekend, housephone went, Indian voice: Can i speak to *my name* please? – Yeah –*****o, my name is Bob, i’m calling from credit management authority (or so****ing like that), would you be interested in reclaiming bank charges from the last 6 years?Me: Alright “Bob” what’s ya real name then pal?Whenever i said so****ing smart he seemed to ignore it, English wasn’t very good, went on about how bank charges are so unfair and how his company is here to help reclaim bank charges for everyone. I laughed, played along, sounds great, so he said “Excellent i will put you through to my supervisor “Shaun”Put me on hold, was Indian themed music for around 10 seconds, made me laugh, bit fonejacker......then Shaun answers, even worse Indian voice.Good afternoon, then said the same thing about bank charges, about this important do***ent he was going to send to my parents address, didn’t like the fact he had my parents address so told him didn’t mine so don’t contact me at that address, he didn’t know how to spell Hertfordshire or where it was, so i said you calling from India then what’s the weather like? He said no no no calling from London, the way he said London made me laugh, so i said where’s that then in the north of England? Ignored what i said asked which bank i was with and how he needed my bank details to verify address, said no chance, then he argued how important it was that he gets them so he could send the do***ent out, spent about 2 mins explaining this to me, just scarcastically said “yeah yeah yeah” then he desperately said “so will you give me bank details then?” replied “no” Then said do you really expect me to give my bank details over the phone to a couple of p***’s? No no no sir you have this all wrong, we need your bank details to verify......”ohh p*** off” ***g up.1hr 15 mins later, phone goes a***n – it’s “Bob” a***n, s****ing off exactly the same like we didn’t speak before. Alright “bob” you after my bank details a***n? No no no sir we don’t need your bank details we’re just here to help you reclaim bank charges. So fired some questions at him he couldn’t answer, what’s in this for you bab? Is this phonecall costing us anything? As he couldn’t answer, said “well u best put me through to “shaun” or “chris” or “paul” then mate and ***g up.TIMEWASTERS.
I get **** ups from this number all day and finally someone was on the line and said that they were with a debt settlement company and that his name was "Aaron Lewis". I thought I'd play along and told them my name was "Stewart Gilligan Griffin" and that I had 190k in debt due to my ******e and ********** addiction. It was hilarious, they just went on and on trying to get personal info from me for God knows what. I ***g up and got a call back from "The manager" who's name was "Louis Johnson" even though the INDIAN dude had told me his managers name was "Eric Johnson". This sounds like some foreign scam like the Nigerians scams.
This number called me at my small business phone number once a day for a long time. Whenever someone answered, there was an Indian accent voice, asking me to update my "free" yellow pages listing. I have told them numerous times that I was not interested and asked them to stop calling me.Finally, I simply quit answering when the caller ID showed that number. When I did that, after a couple days, they switched from calling once a day to calling 7 times per day, letting the phone ring twice, and ****ing up.
called me six times in the same day, and asked them how they got my cell number and asked to be added to thier do not call list. The indian sounding guy apologized and ***g up.
same as caveat emptor! description. They went thru this process a bunch of times, over and over a***n. I did not give them personal information. I kept making them say it was free over and over a***n.
Got same call, some indian guy saying we can now reclaim bank charges. The English was bad. He was saying that we had just had bank charges- which we havent so i just put the phone down
They just rang me on my work phone and were trying to sell some sort of service to reclaim bank charges. Sounded like the guy was Indian and his English wasn't great, though he was very excited sounding. I anti****ted him asking for my bank details so he could reclaim the charges for me but I didn't **** around to find out.
This number (645-812-2300) calls 4 to 5 times daily. When we answer the phone the call ****s up.
It gets BETTER! They hooked up some kind of Electronic Device to the line that they said would "automaticalIy record the information into the computer.....but you must hold on the line for 5 seconds"! WHAT??? Yeah, I'm getting at least 5 calls a day from these sharks. I finally decided to answer their "verification" questions to get rid of them once and for all (hah!). This is definitely a serious info gathering operation based on the info that they ask you for....AND GET THIS...the "Manager" who came on after Stooge #1 to verify that Stooge...was standing RIGHT NEXT TO HIM...not even a transfer of the call....and asked me the SAME questions. It was after that that he said he had to connect me to the "electronic device"........which emitted the strangest noise....it could be faintly heard on the line....It was a ****led tone with a faint flutter at about 6 beats per second to it. I got nervous and ***g up after 4 seconds. HE CALLED RIGHT BACK and said "Mr Chaals, you musn't **** up...just hold the line!" So after 2-3 seconds of the "etherial flutter" I pressed a few keys on the phone to 'make things interesting'!!! Sure enough, I triggered some kind of process on their end which caused an automated voice to come on and ask for some kind of code.....WELL this did not sit well with the Stooge Supervisor who came back on and said "NOOOO, Mr. Chaals, you do not need to press any ****ons!!!! I will press the ****ons!!!" So I told him that I did not believe nor trust them and to never call this number a***n" and ***g up. LISTEN UP, folks! I'm an I.T. professional and I know that they were running some sort of test or****essment on the connection. That and the fact that they REALLY wanted to know whether I had AT&T as my carrier. Now what they are up to I have no clue. It may be plain ol Marketing, but if it's a scam....which I am inclined to think.....by the time you find that out it is it's TOO LATE!
They have called me 5-6 times a day and **** up. Finally I talked to someone who said they wanted to update Yellow Page info.
They Say they Work For Yellow Pages the number 645-812-2300 is either a cell #or in the Kayman Islands I think. I need to know if these people are legit, or scam artists.
Calls and ****s up severla times a day, once their was a live person bit she ***g up as well.
I am also getting these calls. I called my phone co. and it is definitely not them - they gave me a no. to call at the phone co. which is the annoyance center. They also told me to report this to the BBB.
Same exact thing. I feel like ****ing these people......
Got a call from this number but they **** up everytime I answer. Haven't tried to call them back yet, but am going to.
Calls 3 to 6 times a day, 2 rings then ****s up. I tried calling it back and the recording I get is "this number is not in service at this time". I am submitting an "annoyance report" to ATT on this phone number.
Calls 4 times a day, 2 rings then **** up.
