Came in as a call while I was at work. No message left. I have requested no services; am delinquent on nothing, so no reason for anyone from New York, NY to be calling me in North Carolina. Have blocked the number now.

I was cleaning out my deceased family member's home when I received a call with a recorded message saying it was in response to information I requested from a back ***ce commercial on TV. There was an option to press 1 for more info or 2 to not receive any more information. I pressed 2. The phone rang and "Faith" from *mumble mumble* medical (so they hire real professional spammers, too). I informed her that they have been cold calling a dead person. She immediately disconnected the call without saying another word. There is no TV here and the phone line has only been active this past year to received messages about the probate proceedings. I'm am 100% confident that no one requested their automated message.

This is a scam. The recorded message indicated the phone call was in response to a tv ad that I responded to. Not true.
