Leave a CommentHave called my cell # several times. Do not leave a message.
Yep, pure scam. ****es me off. Trying to get a job. Not a high priced lax education. Everybody should call Career Network and ask them to call a 976 number. Sue them for no-call list violations.
I have missed calls from this number (646-360-1659) too, and I too applied for a job on craigslist. HOW DO WE STOP THIS, THIS IS ANNOYING.
Applied for some jobs through Craigslist, got a call from this number while I was sleeping this morning. I'm really glad I looked it up before doing anything further; this is a waste of my time, I'm already in school!
I got a call today from 646-360-1659 and they left an recorded message about a job I applied for online and they need to verify my info. I have not applied for anyjobs in a year and they were never from craigslist. I am pretty sure this is a scam. My number is also on the do not call list so not sure why they are calling and how they got my cell number.
Glad I looked this number up before calling back.....
It is a scam. There is a series of numbers with a 646 area code that are calls scamming on-line job seekers.
I recieved not one, but three calls from this number. Two of the times they told me it was about a job that I had applied to and they needed to answer some questions. The second one was about enrolling me in school.
I think the way to solve this is to notify craigslist. I applied to a job, recieved an email asking me to fill out an online application, followed the link and got nothing but school adverti*****ts wanting my info. I purposely gave a wrong number so I wouldn't get called but I still did. Maybe they should make their schools free, then I'd go. I need a job first, duh. I hope they call a***n so I can answer.
Just got a call from them. I also applied to a job posting on CraigsList not too long ago. They left a pre-recorded msg about a job I applied for. Called them back, talked to someone. Sounds like the rest of you... seems more interested in getting me higher education than anything else. The guy wants me to call another#, then he'll call me back. I don't think I'm going to waste anymore time on this.
this number called me today also and didn't leave a message, i did apply yes****ay though to some career centers in San Francisco
why is this number calling me ***. I haven't applied for a job on craigslist in ages!!!!!
i got a call on my cell phone this morning from 646 360 1659. i have NOT applied for any jobs online.
I have received 2 calls from 646 360 1659. Each time they have left a message claiming they have called before. They state they are from Career Network. I too have applied for jobs on craigslist. I hope they eventually get the clue and stop calling.
I applied for a job through craigslist and when I called back they gave me the name of the company and said that it would take about 45 minutes to verify the information I already sent to them. Initially when I applied for this job they sent me an email saying they wanted me to send them a copy of my "free" credit report using some credit reporting agency I never heard of. I'm thinking SCAM too. They're making it too complicated to get a job.
646-360-1659 is a company called Career Network. I got a call on my cell that didn't leave a message. Tried the number from the cell and didn't get through. Called from my land line and actually spoke to Richard. He couldn't tell me the name of the company to which I submitted the application. He did tell me that in order for him to push through my application that I needed to call 321-249-1490 Education Connection. They only want to speak with applicants that want to further their education online either now or in the future. Sounds like a scam.
Yes****ay I received a phone call at the same time as today from 202-403-0827. It was the same scam like this. Just a fyi
I received a call from 66-360-1659 this afternoon; I didn't pick up but I****ume it's the same scam as all of the above because I've been applying to jobs on craigslist as well.
I have a missed call from this number too this afternoon! And I've been applying to jobs on craigslist...I'm guessing it is some kind of scam.
Its sounds like a scam. Applied for a job online-want you to apply for school is all they want.
I applied for a job on-line. Not familiar with this number.
I applied for a job on-line and received a call from 646-360-1659 and they said that I had to call 321-249-1490 to speak to someone about enrolling in on-line college cl***** before they would submit my resume and application.
