Called and only got half a prerecorded voicemail. Called the number back from a different number. Thick Indian accent answered, "Hello, this is **, with the United States IRS; how can I help you?" When was the last time you called a government number and didn't get a recorded answer with options to direct you to the appropriate department? OR a government number than answers on the first ring?!
