Just received the call from an Asian man said that I owed money in the amount of $5,000.00 he had my SS#, e-mail, everything, I finally told him to serve me papers and I would look at it and then I laughed and ***g up on him but it really needs to be reported. I contacted my attorney and they are also looking into it. I haven't had a payday loan for probably over 15 years so I know this is a hoax!

These idiots have been calling me too.  Always with a new American name with the same ol' middle eastern accent.  I've spoken with these fools a couple of times.  ****ed whom ever I was speaking to because he couldn't make me get scard, please!  I told him he was a bad scam artist, and I wasn't sending them a **** dime.  Today, I got a call at work...now I am fighting mad.  I would suggest everyone who is being harassed to contact the FBI.  Below is the new number these idiots are using.peter adams (631)772-9972

I have received many calls from people like this middle eastern accents threatening to call the police come top my job have me arrested if you are firm with them they back off and stop calling for a while   someone has to catch them

I got a call as well and checked with the Payday companies that I used about a year ago and owed nothing.  This is definitely a scam, as a matter of fact, the woman at one of the places told me that the FBI is looking at trying to catch these guys but they use prepaid cell phones and ditch tem the next day.

I too have received numerous calls from this number - they ask for some person who I have never heard of.  I tell them they have the wrong number and they treat me like I am lying.  If I dont answer they leave nasty messages stating (w***ver) has a very serious matter to handle and needs to have an attorney call them back...  I have told them at least 6 times to take my number off of their list b/c they have the wrong # and they still call - Today they called and while my phone was ringing it had my own number as the caller id # but after it stopped ringing it showed up as the number above as a missed call...  These people are crazy and persistant...

I received a similar message from Kevin at 646-416-9018. He had a Middle Eastern English accent. He told me to phone him or have my attorney phone him for a loan I supposedly didn't pay back.

Someone I can barely understand with ***ue information about a lawsuit. They keep calling me non stop, I dont know who it is.

I am having the same problem. I called the loan company to make sure I was paid off. They told me yes they are aware of them and that they are scammers. I too would like to know how these people can be reported because this MUST stop. I have told them to "seize and desist" all calls and they still call me. They called my reference and told her I had committed check fraud and all kinds of stuff. Please let me know how to stop this.

I have been receiving these calls from :"these ***ople"  They usually hoax their number from ID Caller.  They have multiple numbers.   Two different (mideasternaccent) men have called me already..at work..on cell ..call your references (which is my number).   it stems from a payday loan (advance network) that i took out.... they must have a list of persons who they call trying to scam.Mr Douglas called this timemy question is larger than that..i KNOW this is a scam..and im not afraid of them...HOW DO WE REPORT THEM AND HAVE THEM CAUGHT.
