Unwanted text message about furthering my education.....an illegal call since I am on the Do Not Call list.  Can't these illegal calls be stopped?????

Two days in a row I received this unwanted text saying to call 800-615-7141 for info about furthering my education. Guess it doesn't do any good to be registered on the Don Not Call list as I constantly get these illegal calls and texts.

I got a text from 6464218731 reading: "Thx 4 visiting our site. Want a $200 Gift Card plus $20 visa card. Call 877-792-0493." I called that 877 number and they asked for my name. When I refused to give it and asked who they were, the person ***g up on me. Seems like a shady outfit to me.

New scam attempt :" Michael your Payday loan may be in your account in 1 hour - go to 555cash.com now to claim  reply STOP to stop MSG's."I am not Michael   -if I text back to stop  I confirm I have a pulse, for future harrassment. erased from phone....

please stop these call. Doing the do not call does not work.

Sent me a text with "Congratulations ****ael! Claim your $200 Target giftcard voucher Call 866-607-4718" So.....I did. Then I chewed the operator a new****. Then I repeated several times. I suggest that if you get a number to call, do it! And tell your friends to do it too. Make their operators miserable!

received the following text message from 646-421-8731 to my cell:"Congratulations! To claim your $200 Target gift card voucher, please call 888-505-8649. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."have no idea how they got my cell, I've not entered into any contest or anything, and will not respond to this message.

got txt from 6464218731, called # it said (8665730049)to receive $200 target voucher that could be used at other retailers and for legal fees, etc. wanted my address and when i asked for corporate office #, gave me a 'customer service'#(8007957998)...recording for "protective club junction" (which i find hysterical) and, when operator came on she called it protection junction. i ***g up.sounds a little fishy. each person sounded of middle eastern accent so were difficult to understand in the first place.

I called and they first ask for your name. They offer you 230.00 dollars worth of gift card vouchers at Target and other retailers. She also described legal services available. She said this offer was a social service. When she asked me if I could pay the one time shipping fee of about nine dollars, I declined and said no I could not pay that. Then she said thank you and ended the call. When so****ing sounds too good to be true...

This company at 646-421-8731 which shows to be ***oadwing Communications LLC-NY when I looked it up continues texting me when I have asked them to stop, have supposedly blocked them by my provider, Verizon, but they continue to text me and I am being charged $.20 each time they text me. Thank you!
