On 06-20-2011, at 12:31 PM I got a similar call from someone (from number 646-527-8434) I could not understand.  He said "they" represented "someone who taking "legal action" a***nst me for "CHECK FRAUD".  He indicated they tracked my EMAIL and social security number.  When I asked him WHAT THE SOCIAL number was, he would not give it to me.  I asked for the last four; a***n no.  I asked for someone I could UNDERSTAND.  I am sick of taking to some son of a b***h who insists on getting MY info and who I cannot understand.  I got someone else who ALSO could not talk English.  I callded the number back and a recording came on telling me this was NOT a local number in spite of the fact it comes up on my phone as such.  The recordoing tells you to contact your carrier or they give you another number to call and  then punch in this number to make the LONG DISTANCE CALL (read - INTERNATIONAL).  When I called my carrier to querry this they told me it SOUNDED like a SCAM but to check GOOGLE.  Lo And Behold it is.Thanks to all and GOOGLE for the info.

John Smith called and wanted credit card info to pay back a loan...when I called back he wanted to know my name and information, when I asked what company he worked for he could not give me a company name and got slightly defensive saying things like 'well f*** you', not all too professional if you ask me.

A man with a  heavy Indian accent and also has an American name for example (Scott Walker) he has to say it really slow. He will tell you that you are being sued for money you barrowed on line from a payday loan type place so beware of giving out your info to the payday loan places they will sell your info to this wack jobs. They will have your address and town you live in also the last four number of your social securty number DO NOT GIVE THEM THE REST OF YOUR SOCIAL it is a scame tell them to stick it call I'm back using *67 in front of the number and ***** with them.
