Leave a CommentSame old voice if I answer. Foreign accent. I don't answer anymore.
caller ID shows it is from a David Ross--David has a ****ese accent--He asks for Frank and I tell him Frank is dead and let him rest in peace. He just keeps calling. I wish I knew how to block his calls. It's a shame some people resort to this tactic to make a living. I have in the past had phone calls saying that my computer has a virus and they could fix it. This is when I just **** up on them.
SCAM ALERT! I don't own a computer! I use my phone and an iPad to run my entire business. The caller's name was, Mas, and stated that he was calling because of several notifications from my (nonexistent) PC that apps were repeatedly crashing. He was concerned that there was a virus attacking my files. When I questioned him further and explained that I don't even use a PC he then said, "Why are you resisting a***nst Windows?" and ***g up on me. Do not answer. Block the call.
Has called us every day for weeks, and we're really getting tired of it. One of these days, I'm going to answer and when this scammer(s) answers, I'm going to **** a very loud whistle in his ear. I suggest everyone do the same.
Received 4 calls from this number in two hours what recourse do I have.
Called my phone several times in one day and a***n the next few days. The/caller id shows Johnathan Price and never leaves a message. I never answered phone because i didn't know who this person was.
I get calls from this number, the first time he said he was from windows PC services & their records show I have viruses on my computer & he like to get access to my computer to remove them. I said "oh yeah, your so full of it your eyes are brown" & I ***g up. I then put this number on blocked calls so he can keep trying but hopefully he'll figure out, it ain't worth it
This number came up on my caller id as Johnathan Price. ***g up as soon as I answered.
This person, with Indian accent, calls incessantly! Caller ID says Stephen Price. He claims to be from Windows. I have told him I know he is a scammer but he continues to call. Yes****ay about 7x, today at least 4x. I'm not picking up the phone any more since he is too dumb to realize that I will not take the bait.
Was a delayed answer call so I ***g it up, with out listening any longer.
Person is calling from this number repeatedly and never leaves voicemail messages, both red flags it isn't a legitimate caller. I never answer calls that I don't know who the caller is per advice from my local county sheriff.
This person always calls, they are a fake microsoft employee claiming that my laptop had viruses. Be careful!!
BLOCKED them. Microsoft works great!
Keeps calling obsessively. 7 times in past 2 days. No one on the line when I answer & they do not leave voice mails.
Caller (Indian) said he was from Microsoft and it was important to "talk" about very serious security breached with my computer. However, in the background you can also hear a room full of other Indians spouting the exact same line. SCAM.
Received multiple calls. When I finally answered he said he was from Microsoft and that my computer was showing errors and was set to crash. I have not received any error messages on my computer but am now worried that this person can access my computer. Shows up on my ID as Johnathan Price.
They have called multiple times during the day when I am not home. My caller id says David Ross. We have to get this number blocked. I just don't answer. How do they find our numbers? Do they call numbers randomly?
They have called several times minutes after I had problems with connecting to my computer, heavy accent I couldn't understand, said he was with Microsoft, seemed to know I was having a problem and he could help me with my problem. Told me he could tell me exactly where to go to fix my computer, so I ***g up not knowing if he caused my problem or what, but knew he was not legit. Local cable company is coming this afternoon to fix my problem.
Regular calls - either no one responds (get a recorded message to leave a message) or someone speaks unintelligible language.
Said he was from Windows ethical division, wanted to know if my email was what he had. When I told him I was at work not at home near my computer, he ***g up. knew he couldn't talk his way onto my computer:(
Multiple calls, no messages. Now I'm concerned since they have my number.
CONSTANT CALLS FOR ALMOST 3 WEEKS SEVERAL TIMES A DAY!!!! EITHER NO ONE ON OTHER LINE OR IT IS A FOREIGN SOUNDING VOICE TALKING JIBBERISH IN THE BACKGROUND!! I BLOCKED IT ALSO BUT SHOWS UP IN MY CALLER ID.
they call several times a day!! SPAMMERS OR FRAUDS
Daily calls, not answering it as no ID # . Blocked it on my phone but still gives me the # on caller ID and that it was blocked. Persistent calling for 2 months.
Comes across as David Ross CID for me. Third time , always Middle East/ Indian accent. Scam: Get access to your Microsoft computer. Write-up in Snopes under Microsoft Scams. Be careful out there!
They called me yes****ay at 2:1 pm, no message. Today, I received a call at 8:16 am. They called a***n at 9:41 am. No message.
They have called my phone at least 15 times in the last 3 days. They are saying they are with Microsoft and that there is trouble with my computer and I don't have an computer.
