Robo call recorded message claims that the IRS is going to file suit a***nst me, total BS don’t fall for this, IRS does not call people

Computer voice message left which stated was the US Government in New York. Stated that a suit was being filed a***nst us. Told us to call 646-897-6140 (the same number that showed on caller ID). Total scam. Deleted message!

IRS doesn't call people to tell them they are being sued. First step would be to say you are being audited and that notice comes in the mail.

This is a scammer. The IRS does not call people and say they are being sued by the IRS. I called the number back. The guy that answered sounded like he was in a call center in Somalia.

This is someone pretending to be some one from the IRS sending a scare msg to call them immediately or they will file a suit.

I am about to be arrested "by" the IRS. :)
