Friday, September 24, 2010I got a payday loan in June of this year; I fell into a financial hardship and was not able to pay it off, leaving a balance of 600.00 on my account. I called the payday loan company, Cash Net USA, and made payment arrangements. Then I got a call at work from an unavailable # 000-000-0000, a man with a strong Indian accent answered and asked to speak with “Apple” my name is April. I asked who was calling and he wouldn’t tell me so I ***g up. I got two more phone calls within 5 minutes so I blocked the number. Then he left a message he stated his name was Officer Zack Wilson from the legal department of ACS and that my account was being forwarded to the courts and that there was a law suit a***nst my social security #! I immediately called the number he gave back (646-918-5986) because he had my address, telephone #, date of birth and social security #. I spoke with I think her name was Michelle, she stated she was the supervisor for Zack and that Cash Net USA forwarded my account to her because I didn’t pay my balance, I tried to explain that I already made payment arrangements with the other company but she wouldn’t listen to me. She was very rude and said I’m just trying to do my job, if you don’t want to pay the balance with us you can go to court on Monday, and fight this case. I didn’t have any court notices and I told her this, she stated that was not her problem if I wanted to settle the balance with her I could make a payment of 300.00 and the account would be closed, I told her a***n that I already made a payment, then she said well you will just have to fight this is court. I called Cash Net after I spoke with her to get my receipt of my payment plan because I thought this was real. The woman from the payday loan said asked if the person I spoke with had a thick accent I said yes and she confirmed that this was a scam, she told me not to give them a dime and forwarded me to a compliance line, and I left a message and hopefully will get a call back. It just scares me because they have all my information, should I go to the police???

Complete spam. I called a***n. Disquised my voice! Said I was a 66 year old woman. He said, well this was done when you were 33. You owe $2500. This is so funny. I encourage everyone to mess with these people like they have messed with us. Im not EVEN 30 yet. It's all BULL!!! Have fun!!

I got a call from them and it pops up as 0000000000 or so****ing like that. THIS IS A SCAM. I called them up and was a SMART A**. Said I that there call was being recorded for training and quality services and that I was also on the line with the AACounty Police Department for legal verification or so****ing lol. I said put me on with SAM JACKSON, in reference to a voicemail.  She said that she was Sam Jackson and was supervisor of her.... which made NO Sense ****!! I kept demanding to speak to SAM not the supervisor. She was irate, yelling and screaming and saying she was the supervisor, can't I hear. Then she ***g up. I called her back and she answered WHAT and was I _____(my name) I said no and kept demanding to speak to SAM. She s****ed to press ****ons, but I could still hear the same background noise so there was no transferring, just number pushin lol. So I S****ED TO PRESS NUMBERS TOO. And she ***g up. I'm gonna eff with them all day. I just so happen  to be off and I get a kick out of it. Everytime I call she ****s up. Time to call *67 and bug her some more.Folks, do not get scared over this scam!!! CAll them a few times and they will get so ****ed they will ignore you and not answer. I love it. ****ERS!! They picked the WRONG WOMAN!

got a call from this number-name is robert anderson. same as above. called me at my work number also and im glad i got the msg and not someone else. **** SCAMMERS!! SUCH IDIOTS. I dont know where they get these numbers-another number is 646 578 8788 Jason Roberts-claims he is an officer.

i received a call rom this number 6469185986...and it was a lady with an accent. told me that i owe money from payday loan, and when i told the lady i will call my attorney, and the lady told me that i don't wanna talk to your attorney. and i call them back because they **** up on me and i asked the name of the company at the guy said DSC lawfirm and after that i asked the address and the guy give my old address and thats were i found out that they are scammer. that was funny when i asked the address of the company they give my old address.

This man keeps calling and telling me the my sister-in- law Laura Ross and I owe money. They just stated that they will be filing a claim a***nst Laura. When we said then the court will notifiy her he said no have her call me. But we said no we will wait for the court to notifiy us he didn't know what to say. So we shall see if we get notified. Please do not fall for this it is a scam he can't even tell us what we owe money on.

Also the name of the caller was "James Smith".

I received a call from this number today and they left a voicemail on my cell phone. The man (who had an accent) stated that he was trying to collect unpaid loan funds for my cousin and actually stated my cousin's name and said that they would be able to take funds from me as I was listed as a contact on this loan. My cousin has never taken out a loan in her name nor utilized my name as a contact. I just looked up the phone number and saw these posts that this number is linked to fraud.

My husband got a call from these people within the last few days, what was worse was that the man actually knew my husband's entire social!! We then researched the number on here and realized that this is definately a scam!

He called me back 3 times later, back to back, on the same day, said his name was Sam Smith, counselor this time. I said I couldn't understand his accent and so he handed the phone to someone who's accent was not as thick. He said his name was Danny Don. He began to threaten me and when I advised him that I'd already filed complaints with the FTC & the NY State Attorney General. He kept trying to overt-talk me, saying we will take your car (ha, I don't drive) and make me cry. He also said my attorney is in his pocket and I could call him Big Daddy. He called back (the ID is 000-000-0000) less than a minute later. I answered, "Is this Big Daddy?" and he said no. He s****ed his spiel a***n & I stated I was familiar with the scam. He repeated that my attorney is in his pocket a***n, his left pocket. I disconnected. He called back the third time and I didn't say anything when I answered, and after stating*****o about 8 times he disconnected.

Male caller with a thick Indian accent identified himself as officer Jim Smith, badge number 21656. I am familiar with this scam, but I let him speak briefly. He stated he was with the legal dept of ACS and he had the last four of my social. He called my cell at 1:08pm and then my work at 1:10pm. The voicemail he left on my cell stated they would take legal action a***nst me but I have no outstanding debts. I spoke to him on my office line and I told him not to call me at work since I was aware of the scam. He said it was the first time he called (lie, they just call from different numbers) and when he began to stammer I said, I'm not going to argue with you, goodbye and ***g up. I saved the voicemail on my cell as evidence and now I am off to file complaints with everyone & anyone that will listen.

called me today the number comes up as 000-000-0000, of course I didn't answer it but left me a message that was for my maiden name & 1st name that I don't use and someone else has used my iden***y in a legal matter but they wanted the person who stole my iden***y to call them and left this number 646-918-5986 said they work for ACS under Sam Jackson, what a laugh I've been married for 18 years and they don't even know my name. I would agree its a scam and how do I contact my stolen iden***y person, this is so ******.

keeps calling me telling me that I have and outstanding payday loan.  called the guy back and he has told me that he is an officer,  dennis peterson( an attorney), and also robert albertson( an attorney), working for ACS law firm,  and that legal action is being filed a***nst me in the New York State Legal dept.  I have asked questions also and he just beats around the bush to waste time till he has an answer for you.

they keep caling me at work 4 and 5 times a day, ihave told them a ***dred times to not call me at work.. this is harassment and I have about had it!!!

Contact your local police and File a police report.  Contact had thick accent stating he was working for ACS. He has many aliases and a  woman accomplice. he is based out of New York.

They are ACS. Junk Debt CollectorIt is violation of the law if they call your work.

These guys are junk debt collectors.They use illegal tactics.Do not believe them.

This phone number called me yes****ay, Aug 10 2010, at my WOR**** They spoke with my manager and said that this was in regards to a legal matter a***nst me. I just got the message today and haven't called the number yet so I don't know much at this time but I will post any additional information.

Man by the name of Sam Smith calls tells you that you are under investigation, it's a scam. Can not understand the man at all. don't get taken in. They want money from you. They will lay low for awhile, then get new numbers and harrass you. Don't believe a word they say. Will call you all day long. ITS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! using #646-918-5986.
