It's random. For me, it was "car insurance has expired.." and carries on about how you can reduce your level of payments. Since I live in Saskatchewan, with government-forced insurance, it's a dead give-away scam.

I'm fully reg'd on the "do not call list". They called me offering to consolidate credit card debt. Bunch of scammers, they should all be ***g and we all be allowed to have a p*ss on thier grave party!

I just got this call today.  Didn't get to it in time and it went to voice mail; no message left.  I'm registering a complaint about it on the National Do Not Call List website.  Although from what I heard on the news recently it doesn't seem to matter.

Called at 3:44 pm and although I knew it was a telemarketer, I answered and listened to try to get my name off their list. They wanted to lower my interest rate on all my credit cards and if I held on, I could talk to a rep. I held and listened to repeats of how they can help me and then the recording said the call could not be completed and I was disconnected.

Got this call at (250)743**** (Vancouver Island). Spoke with an****istant and told them 'politely' that we are on a do-not-call.

Yep.  Called the 250-658 too.Voicemail and answering ma****es are all too much spam.  We ****ed them all here, and use Caller ID for about 90% of the value of voicemail (think about it -- unless they say more than "it's Mike;  call me" then anything but C-I-D is a waste) .  I think the only way I'd consider getting voicemail a***n is if I could hook a secretariat app into asterisk (the computer answering system)  and require a bypass code to get to the message part.  Dump the ******* calls otherwise.

THEY CALLED AND RECORDING CAME ON - "THEY CAN LOWER MY CREDIT CARD DEBIT" AND I WAITED AND ONCE THE MAN SAID "CAN I HELP YOU" - I SAID "HOW DID YOU GET MY NUMBER" HE PUT THE PHONE DONE.

I got the same call pressed 9 to go through was asked who I was Told them it didn't matter to take me off their calling list and that they were disgusting, older people answer and get all upset thinking so****ing is wrong with their credit card... they ***g up on me.. I really want to call back the upper number didn't work in my calling area any ideas?

I asked how they got my number.He asked for my name,I asked what company he was calling on behalf of.He asked for my name.Since he called , told him he should know.He said he did not do ESP.I ***g up.

It's a company calling to offer to help you consolidate credit card debt.  Total sham.
