Calls from this number twice today. ***ody talks.
I can't understand...So many people complaining and we still get calls form that ****** number!!!!Must be a cie related to Bell and they act innocently...
Marketer said they were from Bell Cellular. This is the SEVENTH such phone call I've had from this SCAM operation. I've called Bell and complained - they've indicated they are not calling me because I'm on their internal Do Not Call list and they also scrub a***nst the National do not call list (which I'm on as well). In order for Bell to shut them down, they need phone numbers. Get them from the callers then call 310-Bell to report them! These guys are SCAMMERS. Do not give them ANY information.
The same man has called our house many times. If one of my children answers, he s****s asking them personal questions and tries to keep them on the line. I have repeatedly told him that we are on the no call list but he continues to call.
Called twice on July28/2010 and didn't answer when picked.
called and didn't answer when picked up
Call me today and left no message. I called back(blocked my number) and recording said all circuits full.
Received a call from (647) 724-8790 on July 12/10 but no one responded when I answered.
No reply when I answer
no reply when I answer .
no one answer the call when I pick up.
647-724-8790 continues to call. When I answer, no response. I call the # back and the message says all lines are busy, I will transfer your call etc. After 5 minutes the line was disconnected! Whatever this company is selling they will never get any business from this household.
Can someone stop this caller, it's so annoying....this number appeared on my phone display couple of times a day. When you try to call back, a voice message come on and an indian lady saying "our executive is busy right now, please stay on the line and I'll transfer your call"...and then a music comes on.Could this be a spy? trying to findout if someone's at home?
When I answer they do not talk, they only **** up on you
East Indian..couldn't understand..think he said so****ing about Bell. Asked to clarify who he wanted to speak to and couldn't understand the name. Told them they had wrong number...I have had this number come up before on my missed calls. Telemarking
They call 2 times a week and do not leave messages nor reply when I answer.
CALLS ME EVERY DAY!! |HIGHLY ANNOYING. ANSWER IT, LINE IS DEAD..LEAVE ME ALONE!!!

647-724-8790 keeps calling and not saying anything. When I ask them to say so****ing they just **** up.
phones...lets you pick up and then they **** up. You do a call back and get a recorded message saying that A. Bhandal was busy right now, please stay on the line while I transfer the line...line is never transfered.... as I want my number removed from their list. Are you paying them for the business or are they getting a pay check for every complaint that they bring to you?
calls and when I answered, they ***g up. So I called them back asap...got a voice recording saying A. Bhandal busy right now, please stay on line while I transfer the line... VERY annoying!
This number shows up 6-8 times a week on my call display. When we answer ***ody is on the line. Need to get it blocked
Always get a couple of calls from this number during the week. I pick up the call and they **** up... :(
This number has called 5 times in 2 days and keeps waking up my 2 month old!!!! When you call the number back you get some Indian woman saying "All our CIRCUTIES are busy right now please hold".....can't even*****ounce "circuits". This person or company needs to be stopped. ANNOYED BEYOND BELIEF!!!!!!
this number called twice today, left no messages. This is so annoying. I am on the do not call list.
We have been living in our home now for 4 years and still getting annoying calls from this number. They are looking for a particular person and I keep telling them that they have the wrong number and take my number off their list. They are still calling, 3 times this week. Enough is enough.
annoying telemarketer call
i do not like people calling me and not anwser the phone
Has called several times. I have better things to do than run to the phone and no one is there. I am on the 'do not call' list but doesn't seem to be working. Very annoying!
I am on the do not call list and they call constantly
tried several times to call back and line is always busy, no voicemail available, goes over in a cut off ringtone
3 calls in last 3 days - Never anybody on the line!!! tried Dialing back over various time periods told all attendants busy &/or not available?
STOP CALLING!!! NO MORE NICETIES!
I've had several from this number this week. Same complaint as many others, no message left.
I do not know anyone in this area.
This number has called me a lot of times but there is ***ody there when I answer the phone. Is there some way to get my phone number off their list? I am so tired of this kind of call. I have my phone to talk to my friends, etc. not to take calls like this.
These people have called me many many times trying to convince me to switch to Bell internet service. They want my bank and or credit card info. On my call display they are not listed as Bell. In the end I got too su****ious and ***g up. Beware of these people.
Party on end of line did not respond
no one on other end. calling for a month now. My phone is coming off the hook. We will use an alternative number for friends and family.
Calling me at near 11pm at night. Not impressed<><>
No Msg? ***ody on the line stop it. Happens all day.
answered by ***g up when no immediate response.
I answer, no one is there. At least twice a day for morhe then a month. I am getting some help from a friend in the telecom industry and am going to pinpopint the origin of the calls and am going to solve the problem personally.Trust me the calls WILL stop.
phones and ****s up - no messages left.
No message. Called even though I am registered with DNC. Seems to no make any difference.
This is telemarketers figuring out when it is the best time to call you! don't answer the phone Or do call block
No one on the line, call back is loud techno music and hold recording
I'm on the Do Not Call list, but this caller contacted me anyway.
I don't answer calls I do not recognize especially long distance-no msg left
Unknown caller who NEVER leaves a message!!!
Over the last few weeks I have rec'd 1 or 2 calls daily from 647-724-8790 with no one on the other end. Usually their line is busy, but I did get put on hold once for 5 minutes and then was ***g up on.
Has been calling at least twice a day for the last few days. No answer when i pick up
This person phoned - ***ody talked tho, this has happened before, but im not sure if its the same number.
keep calling me and no one is there.
I ***g up on them before they could **** up on me... but dialled my smart-ring number. Annoying. Not the first time either. Far as I know... these types of calls are only set to determine when you will answer the phone... then they sell the phone numbers to telemarketers who now know the best times to target you.
Has called multiple times. Disconnected or said nothing when I answered.
Disconnected as soon as I answered.
keep getting calls, no one on the line!
Hey Adult female, 647 is a Toronto area code.I got a call tonight, some east indian lady who said she was calling on behalf of Bell Ca***a, who kept pausing and saying*****o. I told her to finish her god **** sentences. She blabbed about my number being selected for a high s***d internet deal. Then she asked me what internet service provider I was using.*****O? If you're Bell, you would know that I have a one bill pkg. I asked her what company she was calling from, if she was calling behalf of Bell, what's the telemarketing agency she was calling from. Pauses and faked up static sounding noises. I asked if she worked for ICT Group, SP Data or Contacts Cse. No response. Then I told her that I actually worked for the CRTC and told her goodbye and ***g up.

Man who knew a lot about my phone bill particulars posing as a Bell representative thanking me for my loyalty. Said I would receive a $120 cr on my next bill (haha that was the 1st clue) and that I would get another call from their "verification dept". Must be an elaborate phishing scheme because Bell knows nothing about it...they didn't seem to care either!!
Just received a call from this number but no one spoke on the other end. Not the first time this has happened. My response to unsolicited telemarketers is "You have just broken the law. I am on the "no call" list and you can be charged thousands of dollars for not respecting that law. This usually stops the calls, but I do feel badly for scaring people who are working at this **** job and don't know the laws around this in Ca***a.
I kept saying "hello" when I answered the phone. There was a pause before a man answered stating he was from Bell Ca***a. Every time one of us spoke, there was a delay. When I asked the man where he was located, he said that he was in Toronto. I told him that since the 647 area code was not from Toronto that he was lying and told him not to call back a***n and I ***g up the phone receiver.
After a pause , asked if I was the lady of the house. I ***g up.
I received a call from Graham. He offered me everything I wanted with Bell at an unbelievable price. First of all, this company is Iristel Inc. who has absolutely no affiliation with BELL. If they answer BELL, they are illegally answering. Bell wrote me back and advised that they have received numberous complaints about this company and this number. DO NOT PROVIDE PRIVATE INFO!!They are currently under investigation. I was told if I wanted to pursue this further to file a complaint with www.phonebusters.com or www.recol.ca.
I live in rural BC. A call came in yes****ay from this number while I was a work. My daughter answered and told the fellow (East Indian accent) to put us on the do not call list. He was stand offish with her. He later called back when I was home. I usually cut telemarketers off cold but he caught my interest with this special deal. My story is similar to the above. After his sales pitch he wanted my credit card number. I refused to give it to him. He said no problem my bank account number will do. I refused to give it to him. The call then ended. These guys are “phishing” for personal info for fraud and iden***y theft. Be careful!
This number called twice today, both times there was no response when I answered, they just ***g up on me. I have asked Bell Ca***a to stop calling me on several occasions. How can they be permitted to continue this harassment?
There are many vendore who work under Bell Ca***a shadow and make a big mess. Bell covers up as long as they sell.
Giot a call from this number yes****ay afternoon - they did not leave a message. thanks to everyone else who have suffered through their calls - we are now listing this as "SPAMMER/SCAMMER" and they will not get through to us on this number. (Our system scans through all numbers that have been reported on this site, then checks our own database to see if we have added a spam designation. those designated as spammers are re-routed to a special out of service tone)
a guy called me with an East Indian accent from Bell Ca***a and offered me wireless internet from Bell and I told him I have it from another satellite provder and that Bell did not work in my area since I live in the country...I told them I wanted to know more about the technology since I have spoken to Bell in the past and they do not have the service--he then said that tech support is sitting beside him and they can handle the call. We all know that tech support is not beside you etc...so then he puts a guy named Nick on and Nick does not know anything about the technology or what Bell provides. I told them I am not interested and ***g up on them. This is a scam and Bell needs to know about this.
I received a call from Bell offering me a wonderful deal on satellite tv (60 channels, 15 HGTV, 8 movie channels no fees) for $29. He asked for my account information which I lied and said I did not have. He then transferred me to his manager to further****ist me. This manager tried very persistently to get my account information off my cheque. I said I did not have one. He then asked if I had a card, like a Walmart prepaid card or credit card. I said no. He asked what bank I dealt with so he could match it to the information the Government gave him. Apparently the Government gave him my name and address and he needs my account number to verify and activate my account. I refused to give him this information. He asked me when I could give him my account information. At this point I ***g up.I will phone back and cancel my apparent appointment booked with them. When I called Bell in my City they did not have a record of an appointment.
Call came this morning from "Miguel" asking for ***d. I began by asking what company he worked for. Sounds like "Miguel" ***g up. I called back later from a different number. Spoke with "Miguel" a***n. He answered the phone, "Bell." I confirmed that he meant "Bell Ca***a" and said his number appeared on my call display. "Miguel" said he had misdialed. I told him that I was calling from a different number than the one he had called previously. "Miguel" said that was a misdial as well: he'd been using the wrong list, he said.I asked "Miguel" if he worked for Bell, or for a 3rd party company contracted by Bell. He said it was a 3rd party company. I asked him three times to identify the company, and each time he said that it was a***nst company policy to identify themselves. I am now awaiting a call from "Miguel's" supervisor, who was in an important meeting at the time of our discusssion.I have attempted to report this incident to Bell Ca***a. At first I called, and Jay, the customer service agent, took my name address and phone number "to verify the call." He then put me on hold. When he came back, he said I needed to go on the website and report the incident in writing. Jay promised the report would be taken seriously. I did that and got an email from Cecil, who wrote that I need to phone in with my complaint. I wrote back to Cecil that I have already done that, as well as reported the incident to the CRTC. I got a canned response back from Cecil with details about how to register for the national Do Not Call List.
Called here in B.C., sounded like a scam. I called them back, told them to never call my home a***n.
Just received a call from 1-647-724-8790 offering me Highs***d internet ADSL connection - stated that it is in my area when we gave the location, but I'm sure we still do not have DSL in our area. After this person s****ed requesting credit card number(s), cheque account# and some other personal information - we ***g up on them. Bell already has this information, why would we give them this, when they can just add this service to our current bill? Another scam - usually if Bell calls, their company name comes up on phone ID.
why are they calling me in BC ?? Didn't answer.
Sam called offered 4 free HD receivers plus $150 rebate...gave name as Sam Lawson...bell ID # bell8220....asked for check # and or credit card #.....# on my phone came up as 17742879009....
Oriental man called claiming his name is Jack Smith, said he was from Bell and because I pay my bills on time my name was chosen to receive promotion of free install of bell satellite and a reduced monthly service fee of $32. He had also said that I would receive a $50 rebate. When he was verifying my information he didn't know what my initials were for on my telephone listing. I asked for his number and said I'd call him back, I checked the number on google to discover other similar complaints.
Called me at home, no msg and no idea who it is
Got a call from "Sam" claiming to work for Bell. Even gave me Employee ID #. Offered Express Vue Satelitte package that is currently on internet with BELL but also offered in 2nd month $100.00 credit to account which would pay that bill and part off next. Also would get a gift voucher worth $50.00 that I was to fill in and attach to first bill and within 60 days a cheque for $50.00 would be sent payable to me at any bank. Only needed my credit card # of bank account # for a quick 10 Second verification. Didn't have my bell account either. If true Bell then this info would be available to them. Called Bell themselves and they have never heard of $$$ offers. They do charge a security of $100.00 on first bill and then take it right off 2nd bill but according to "Sam" at fake Bell no costs to me whatsoever of security, install, or anything. They have now called seven (7) times and put other people on phone. Finally just ***g up on them. NO WAY AM I GIVING BANKING INFO.
received a call from "Bell Ca***a" offering internet service, then was offered an internet/phone/tv package - wanted me to provide bank account and credit card info as part of "verification" process
