SENT TEXT STATES "YOU'VE JUST WON IPAD 2 + $1000.00

They sent a text saying I won an iPad 2 and the website was fake. I'm worried about viruses from it now.

Here's what the text message says: You've just won iPad 2 plus $1000! Claim now at go.syfony.com

Text saying I won an IPad 2 and $1000 and to go to go.syphony.com. I came to this site because someone else got a similar text but from a different number. Their post said this came from Craigslist which I also had an ad there.

A text trying to get me to go to the website go.syphony.com I;m sure they got my info from craigslist. I say we all go to it and spam the S**T out of thier website barraging it with fake info and rude foul messages, turn about is fair play!!

Texting me telling me to go to website that I won an ipad etc.... How do they fool the caller ID, and can you find the real number?

Must get your number and email addresses from craigslist, I thought from ebay but I do have some stuff on craigslist for sale. Have got 13 emails and 9 text messages since my first posting here. Very annoying.

Got a text message from 647 - 780 - 8707 This morning around 8 i'd say, claiming that i won an iPad 2 + 1000 Dollars, and to claim it at http://go.syfony.com. The only way i see they could of gotten my number is off Craigslist. Did a bit of research and apperantly it the number originally belonged to someone selling an Android ePad in Toronto, Ca***a, their last status update July 11 2011. Today is August 1, 2011 2 : 12 P.M. U.S. PACIFIC TIME.

apparently this just kicked off today cause I got one too, I got it to a number I had published on a craigslist add. thanks to the magic of google voice, they are now on my block list :)

Said I won an iPad2, and I have not done any eBay. Also, it was sent to my Google #, not even my main number. It may be from an app, or Craigslist.

Anyone getting calls, text, or emails from this number or groupon.com. Did you recently purchase anything off ebay that was shipped from ca***a? I find it odd that I s****ed getting text and emails just after purchasing a phone off ebay from a seller in ca***a and all of a sudden I s****ed getting these calls, text, and emails.

Got a text from 647-780-8707 saying "Hey, this is better than groupon, http://go.syfony.com" Got to be spam or scam!

I got a random text message from this number. It said: "From a recent contest, your number was selected to receive a free gift. Validate your email address now at go.syfony.com to claim your prize. Ends July 29th." I just posted a different number. That was a mistake.
