called to cancel facebook account that was never used - was told had multiple accounts in states thru facebook opened up - to close those accounts they wanted me to go to dollar general to purchase so****ing - I dont drive - they wanted me to purchase $500 gift card from home depot one to equal the money amount for each account in each state - this is just supposed to be a ***** account they refund - I did one purchase giving them the gift card number and pin number - I did no further purchases - I told them it dont seem right I'm not doing no more until I know I am getting my $500 refund and they told me if I dont continue to wipe out theses accounts in this manor that facebook will be bringing charges a***nst me in a couple of months - how would anyone in facebook get my info to open up any accounts in my name ?
