just got text from an item i have listed on craigslist. they want to send cashiers check for the amount while i hold it for them. they are out of town. phone number comes up state of california and i live in pennsylvania. thanks for the post

Yes I just got a text from this number decided to look up on this site before they text back. Thks for the info. My item is listed on Craigslist

I sent texts to a certain person. When I got home I checked my online account to see other activity on my account and noticed that the texts I sent were from this number. This is NOT my number. Hmmm freaky. Seems like my phone usage is going through another source to send messages.

Just finished posting items on Facebook for sale and got a text from a person at this number asking about one of the items. Same story as previous person who reported on this page. Acted like they were interested, wanted to send cashiers check. Told them i saw this page and they never responded back.

acting like they are interested in an item I have on craigs list and they are out of the area and will be happy to pay me an extra $50 to hold it and may they have my name and address so they can send me money/order check
