I just got the same call from a very friendly sounding guy who said he was with the ASPCA. I told him that I already donate every month but he remained quite insistent that I give him my credit or debit card info so that he could see if my donations were still going through - I said I would look at my checking account online myself to see if they were and in fact the monthly payments/donations to the ASPCA were still being processed. He STILL wanted my credit/debit card info - which I thought was su****ious. I never gave it to him. He then asked if I could increase the amount each month - I said I was not sure but if I could I would do it online - he really pressed me to let him do it.....I declined.
