He called me yes****ay, 4/11, said he was collecting a debt from Citibank. I thought it was a scam so I checked the phone number he called from and I saw all these comments on numberguru. It confirmed to me that it is in fact a scam. I'm thankful for this site and all the feedback from people.

He said he was from a law firm

He said that he was with a law firm and that there was a case a***nst me for trying to fraud a financial ins***ution and it was going to be filed in my home county if I didn’t respond and it would affect my drivers license. He also threw out a fake case number.

Jonathan white from a law office. He said he has my case and if I don't call him back, he will submit my case to county. No case number and he didn't call out my last name.

Saying he is a landlord in LA and asking for payment/signage of lease agreement before signing. Asking you to wire security deposit and first month's rent to ******IA L HAAS.

Running a rental scam, asking for money to be depositing money into a Bank account out of the State under another name before viewing property.

This person is running a rental scam and pretending to be a landlord when they are not. Do not send them any money on Zelle or bank transfers.

Fake!

Fake IRS agent pretends to be calling from the IRS and have a court order for my arrest. I called back several times. Seems to be 4 males and one female running the scam. This number has call frorwarding to 5 or s other numbers. DON'T BE FOOLED.

This is another malicious scam call from someone claiming to be from IRS saying "IRS is filing lawsuit a***nst you" and to immediately call their department number 661-548-2203. Caller ID said "California Hot Springs" which according to Wikipedia is a location in the California desert with a 2010 population of 37. Don't ever respond to these vermin or give them a second of your time.

This scam seems to never die.

Claims to be IRS and threatens legal action if you don't call. I doubt the IRS goes about their business this way!
