These same idiots call have been calling for the past 30 days warning that they are going to file a suit cost $7-8Kunless I settle out of court through then for $698. They are barely understandable and speak with a heavy Indian accent.When called back you receive a message from Verizon wireless that the number has been disconnected obviously a bunch of scammers trying to extort money.

On Friday I received a call from 661***0712 and he claimed that I borrowed $432 from CashNet on March 1, which was deposited at 4:10 pm.  (I checked my account and there was no deposit on this day).  He also claims that they sent me 12 emails about this and multiple warning letters were sent.  His claim was that they could not take out the payment without my permission (isn't that part of the loan paperwork?!).  He said that I owed $435 and they were filing the same federal charges a***nst me.  He said that if I took this to court, I would owe $5545.00 for the court, fines, interest, and attorney.  He had all of my identifying information and an IP address for the computer he claims I used for the application.  He would never give me an attorneys name of who was filing the matter and was saying that he could not send me a copy of their affidavit or anything else.  He could only give them to my attorney and if I did not have one, one would be appointed for me.  I conferenced in the Agent with the Secret Service that I have been working with and he tried to pry more information out of "Sam" and told him they are being investigated.  "Sam" eventually ***g up.  The FTC and the Secret Service say that they have heard from at least 2,000 victims.  They recommend that you contact the credit bureaus and notify them that you are a victim of iden***y theft.  You will also want to contact your bank and go over the options they have for fraud protection.  The Number ! thing is DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY!!!  They will probably keep calling you, just **** up!!

These same _______ called me this morning stating that I owe some money and that they if I don't pay them then they will come and arrest me. The first lady I talked to name was Kathy Martin so to say, theses are some unlegit ****s and when I asked for some do***entation because I wasn't gonna pay no money to anybody I don't know then she talked about contact the court and they have papers. Then later that evening a disrespectful _______ from the same unknown number called back by the name of Kevin Foster, I had to go off on his disrespectful ______ talking to me like I was a 5 year old and stole some money from him. They are foreigns with bad accents, their phone be making loud noise and have a lot of loud talking in the back like tvs or radios playing or so****ing. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!

I got a call today and they said they would be taking me and my references to court.. I didnt know what they were talking about.. saying that I would recieve a 10,000 fine and 5 yrs in jail. Along with my references.. WHO THE HECK ARE THESE PEOPLE!!!! I will not be threatened!!!

@angela:  ignore the call, unless they threaten you!!  then notify authorities....who told me to google and let everyone else in on the scam!!

Has anyone else heard the background noise that sounds like they are calling from a phone bank?   Last time left a message "wishing me luck," if they do not hear from me.   With a "wish" like that, authorities have now been notified.

This is probably the 10th or so call since the end of March.  Normally, I don't answer...I let them leave a voice mail.  Then I record the name they gave with the phone #, which btw constantly c****es.  Some Indian-accent-having **** calls and calls.  Today I answered.  I was very nice and asked him to repeat his name and number...then I proceeded to thank him and told him that the police would be glad for another number to track them down to!  He ***g right up and wouldn't answer when I called the number back.  I did report them to my local police and I found a link on the web to report them to the FTC as well.  Each time I get another number, I update the reports to include them.  I recommend that we all do that so maybe we can be such a pain to them, they stop calling.  This is ridiculous.

what did you do after speaking to them.  Becuase I received the same call and I panic becaue it seems very serious.  Could you let me know what you did.  Should I just ignore

They keep calling my cell saying that they are taking me to. the phone line is breacking up when they are calling. dont know the comppnay can hear through the bad phone lines

They called saying we owe money from a loan and that we created fraud. Claims they are the Sheriff and they are coming to arrest us.

Since I don't answer my cellphone when I don't know the number who is calling, these ****** scammers left me a voice mail on my phone. Like the above comments a certain JOHN SMITH left a message saying that I have a lawsuit and its in the court and call them back at this number 661***0712. I erased it because I know it's a scam...but what a heck! They called my work place after 3 days. When I got to the phone, they ****ed up. Today (Friday), they left a***n a message.....What the heck do these *******s get from us? It is really annoying because since its my first time they really scared me but thanks to friends who knows people in the government...

I got a call from 6036599999 stating this is the last time the will call me (which was the 1st) and that me or my state attorney needs to call back at 661***0712. I'm not calling back, because this has happened to me before and its all a scam. I am so tired of these foreigners calling me saying that I owe money.

These idiots have been calling me.  You would think if there was really a lawsuit a***nst you, someone would call who could actually speak English.  These people are pathetic with their Indian accents and names like John Dixon and Robert Smith.  Gave me the same call back no.  I googled it and found this sight.  The first time they called, I asked for do***ents to prove their claim and he said that either I or my attorney would have to go to the courthouse to pick them up.  If I was going to run a scam, I would at least **** up on the particulars to make them believable.

Calls to tate that they are sending docs to my "hotel" to sue me. These people have a heavy indian accent. Will not provide docs to support their claim of a payday loan. Never took one out in '07.
