Not certain who this person was bu they had no business calling

Got this robo call on my house line. I have contributed to the Nature Conservancy in the past but will block this number. I receive emails and snail mail from TNC and don't mind that. But I DO MIND THEM calling me.

They said that they'd like to thank me for being a member since 2001 and that I once donated $25 and would like to know if I could donate a***n. That is completely false.

I hope someone has contacted TNC as they have NEVER called for money. Generally get solicitations in the mail or on my email. W***ver was on the phone knew to **** up before my ma****e picked up the phone. Probably the same people who try to get me to buy medical equipment for conditions I don't have.

I called the number back and a voice said they are Donor Services Group on behalf of The Nature Conservancy. They had me on hold but since it's not a toll-free number I ***g up after about a minute. Donor Services Group has its own website and appears to be legit, except that they don't provide the non-profits any service because they don't answer if I pick up the phone and they don't leave a message if I don't. So: I don't know what their game is.

Caller ID said TNC. No one was there when I picked up. I am on the Do Not Call list and use Verizon's Caller Block both of which seem to be completely ineffective.

Some telemarketer asking for a name I've never heard. Told them to take my number off the list and he said, "Do you even know who we are?" Caller ID said "The Nature Conservancy" which made even less sense. Either way they wanted money.

Has called multiple times. No one there. Do not pick up anymore. On no call list, so what gives.

Shows as TNC, multiple calls and never leaves a messsge.

No clue who they are. No message was left.
