Lol if it weren't for this site I wouldn't have known it was TechNet ( I never pick up unknown numbers) kudos
Same here, Technet subscription time. The call every day at about the same time.
I received my first call today, which i let go straight to voicemail. It is exactly 2 weeks before my TechNet subscription is set to expire. I'm so happy to have found this site and discovered the source and reason for their call. Thanks Number Guru !!
They have been calling me for more than two months now. My TechNet subscription is not going to expire for another couple weeks.I told them I would renew my TechNet subscription when I decided to get around to it, and they still keep calling. What part of 'I will do it when I decide I am ready' do they not comprehend? One more call from these people, and I will not renew, I will tell M$ that I am not renewing because of these people, I will file a complaint with the BBB and the California Attorney General against these people.
These bastards do not stop calling all F#%@^&n DAY long!even when I answer all i get is music then it hangs up - WTF?- yup my technet subscription just expired - even if I wanted to renew is this the wayshoot the bastards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all of 'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yup, it's definitely Microsoft calling about TechNet Subscription
This a Bertelsman Media calling on behalf of Microsoft to get you to renew your subscription to MS TechNet or MSDN.
They called again and played music for me this time. I think I'll file a complaint with the CRTC.
I had 2 calls from this number in the past week. The first time they got my voicemail, and the guy started talking, asking if he could speak to me. DUH! Today I answered and got only silence. This guarantees I won't renew my Technet sub. Besides, Google gives me more accurate results when researching technical issues. At least it doesn't give me 200 MS Exchange articles to sift through when I'm researching a SQL Server issue.
It was technet & they reduced day keys halfway to da year to 5...while we paid & signed up for 10 last year...MS @ it again...
Technet, no kidding. Thanks man. I've been receiving a call every single day for the past 2 weeks. My Technet expired last week. LOL.
Got this on my cell for MS TechNet subscription.
Got a call from this number but didn't answer. This was my second time.
Microsoft trying to get me to renew my TechNet subscription.
I answered the phone and said hello a few times. Ended up hanging up.
Called me, nobody on the line but silence. I hung up after saying 'hello, hello' a few times with no response.
Annoying little gimmick. Multiple calls - no answer after 2 min listening to elevator music. Have sent in two emails to MS complaining. Got a response that it will be investigated (mentioned that if this was their sales tactic, then perhaps I would not renew...)
I just got a call from this number. Elevator music played for a couple minutes then it disconnected.
Left a lovely voicemail that only had clicking sounds.
Called it was for Microsoft but caller ID BERTELSMAN MEDI the company that calls for MSDN or technet.
Confirmed, Microsoft attempting to renew my TechNet subscription
Microsoft. They just keep calling.
It's Microsoft calling to renew my TechNet Plus account.
I got a call May.27 3:33PM, but did not answer it. This was second time!!
When I picked up this call, just music was playing.. seemed very suspicious.but this is legitimate number. It is Microsoft (probly subsucription dept..)
